*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur FC v Sheffield United ***

So for all those who wanted us to lose against City, given today's results we would have secured CL. And I think Palace would have beaten Villa, even if Villa needed a result. If they lose this badly when they're relaxed, imagine if they were nervous with something to play for.
Huh? City finished 2 points ahead of the Goons with the same Goal Difference. Read the room.
It was a brilliant finish to the season today, every result was fine,

agree on the Chelsea game

we should have finished 4th, so many examples of stupid concessions and not turning up

2 more points was all we needed

no team has ever failed to turn a first 10 game run like ours into CL qualification before

this is going to take some getting over, and we start next season with huge question marks

It’s disappointing after the start we had. It was always going to be an uphill battle given the injuries we had and don’t forget two international tournaments in the middle of the season that didn’t help. Villa themselves went on an incredible run around Christmas.

We also finished 8th last season. We were nowhere near competing for anything. We’ve made small improvements. We still need to improve the squad and give the manager time.

The tournament had a Massive Impact

Would you be happy for Spurs to miss out on European football if it's stopped Arsenal winning the title?

Yes. It’s not the same as winning trophy. Hell, i would even accept Arsenal winning the flippin CL if it meant we won the league. And they are desperate to win that competition. European honours is the one glaring omission from their CV, the CL in particular. They’re arguably the biggest club to have never won it.

Technically true
But you are taking the tinkle

Like we had a choice of winning or losing against City

Imagine if we turned up v Wolves x 2 / took our chances v Villa at home/ turned up in the past month and got 2 points from 5 defeats.

Didn't bend over at Fulham.....

It's not down to the fans feelings over one game.

So you don't support Spurs, you dislike Arsenal.
Probably best to support 19 teams each season

I’ve explained the reasons why I wanted us to lose the other day. 4th wasn’t a guarantee or even in our hands if we had won. Wasn’t a fair trade for us handing them the title.

Personally I am embarrassed that so many fans wanted us to lose to City just so they could indulge in schadenfreude at Arsenal's failure. Especially so as it turns out they would still have failed had we beaten City.

I cannot imagine how furious Ange must be feeling. I just hope he's not so tinkled off he has lost interest and motivation, but I would not blame him if he has. Quite frankly it feels to me like the fans have betrayed him.

No
I never mentioned his dribbling
I said his control is poor
His dribbling is ok
It’s his pace that makes him a threat
Dude you said he only has pace but I said he had dribbling as well. That was literally the point that he has more than just pace alone. If you accept he has more than just pace then the point is moot. 🤦‍♂️

What? Arsenal beat Everton.
