I had seen him play prior to joining and had I not I'd still would have considered Lloris as one of the best in the business for the following reasons alone, the guy had around 40 caps for France as well as captaining the side, he has very stiff competition in Steve Mandanda who is an excellent keeper, had played for Lyon as number 1 since his arrival from Nice and had experienced CL football at the highest level and won a number of awards in Ligue 1 all this aged just 25.
He's earnt everything he's achieved so far in his career at such a young age for a goalkeeper nothing "easy" about it.
Brad was great for us last season but his time at Spurs as our number 1 is up the better keeper is now between the posts. Move on.
Coming up the hard way, I have more respect for that than coming up the easy way. Built-in reputations and all, coming from Lyon when realistically barely anyone calling him world class never saw him play.
