I had seen him play prior to joining and had I not I'd still would have considered Lloris as one of the best in the business for the following reasons alone, the guy had around 40 caps for France as well as captaining the side, he has very stiff competition in Steve Mandanda who is an excellent keeper, had played for Lyon as number 1 since his arrival from Nice and had experienced CL football at the highest level and won a number of awards in Ligue 1 all this aged just 25.

He's earnt everything he's achieved so far in his career at such a young age for a goalkeeper nothing "easy" about it.

Brad was great for us last season but his time at Spurs as our number 1 is up the better keeper is now between the posts. Move on.

Well said Huddy, I'm glad you realised how good Hugo is, seems to have passed a lot of Spurs fans and the media by.

sticking to his line and not giving any threat to the attacker, im only expecting him to command his six yard box. Im not a hater or a fan of either keeper but fudge me he was awful tonight. Worst player on the pitch.

I don't think the blame should fall entirely with Friedel. When him and Gallas play together is when I start to get nervous
