Gonna bust you up blud. You n your sidekick glen.

Glen? :-s So, I already have an enemy called DFS , a marriage proposal, a sidekick called Glen and a linnet spur, Surely, this has to be some sort of record? You'll know me by the spandex and the aforementioned oiled-up body.

Pish! Dandelion and Burdock traditionally, is the way to go when you're in the midst of a bout of fisty cuffs :barnet:

Anyhoo, has anyone seen the adjustment bureau? Not to sure what to make of it, seems a decent premise but, all it is really is a romance with the concept background being more enjoyable than the actual storyline, interesting all the same though.

It is utter brick

Absolute brick film. Deserves the brick oscar (is it the Razzle or something?)

Almost agree with you there buuuut, I've never had an enemy on a forum so :barnet: I think its probably the best film of whatever year it was released and Matt Damon/Generic American actor deserves an Oscar and the mythology of the story line is entirely consistent and focused.

Be careful he might lull you into a false sense of security by offering you a discounted sofa!

The Robert Downey Junior Sherlock films are simply balls, poor acting, directing and just doesn't really have anything that makes it a sherlock holmes film apart from the names, perhaps if it was a different name and characters it would be okay but, as it is it just seems to be hanging off the name and despite the brickyness of the films, this is proving successful, boggles the mind. I fell asleep in the cinema with Wall-e unfortunately, but I've watched it since and its fairly good.

This, this this and this.

This, this this and this.

I've framed the post and now have it on my wall.

Think the only people that like it are presumably ones who haven't read the conan doyle books, haven't seen any of the various programs over the years and generally like the brick that guy richie has churned out (Lock and Snatch aside).

Wrong on the first two counts.

Actually, he's wrong on third count as well, at least I don't think Snatch or Lock Stock or brick.

Look, I'm a big fan of Sherlock Holmes, and I really enjoy the Ritchie take on them, they are something very different, and very good fun. If you don't like them, fine, but don't presume you know those who do, and don't judge them. or DHSF will fudge you up

You go girl

I found them to be fun. Not neccessarily oscar winnin movies but definitely a fun two hours.

For anyone who hasn't seen The Bridge On The River Kwai, one of the greatest war films ever made, I highly recommend it.

DHSF will come on here in a couple of days and tell me and everyone else how brick it is

Listen bitch - I like fun movies. I watch a movie to have a good time. There are times i like serious movies but I watch movies mainly to have a fun time. I watch this is war the other day - it was a brick film but I enjoyed it BECAUSE it was FUUUUUUUUUN.

Hence I like porn n brick.

Am i the only one who has seen Avengers and thought it was crap? Typical loud, wooden, no plot American trash for me. Far too long as well.

What exactly do you expect to see when you buy a ticket to watch the Avengers? Drama? Deep political discussion? an earnest exploration of the human themes of love, intolerance an depression in an uncaring world?

No. You expect loud explosions, ridiculous battles between superheroes and some assorted identikit enemies, and 'look at my flying carrier!' special effects.

Judge a movie on its merits, and on its ability to provide what it advertises, mate. The Avengers movie is a loud, fun and entertaining way to pass a couple of hours. If I wanted deep thought in movies, I'd have bought some dark French noir film full of ennui and despair.
