For those who likes Prometheus

Tbf, if I had known before I had paid to see it that it was written by the same guy/people who did Lost then I would never have seen it and maybe waited until Sky or at least a PB version.

Lost left me cold and I thought that was a pile'o'brick - realise I may be in the minority with that though.

You're not alone in being left disappointed by Lost... I thought that the first season was great escapism but (a bit like Twin Peaks) the writers just didn't know where to go with the story and it just ended up meandering for a few years before the anti-climactic ending. Damon Lindelof could get away with the plot holes in Lost as it was a fantasy show but when it comes to science-fiction (like Prometheus and Star Trek Into Darkness) he can't and really shouldn't get involved in penning scripts for such things imo.

PS: another great Prometheus video

Just watched I Give It A Year..

Pretty funny, Stephen Merchant is awesome in it, massively inappropriate comments

All this talk of Prometheus...

A decent sci-if film is on More 4 at 9pm: Sunshine.

Cracking film, believable yet still fantastic; interesting, individual characters that actually interact with the plot; just really well put together.

Can't stand the idea of watching Les Miserables and so, instead, one of housemates is playing the film so loud that I may as well be listening to the soundtrack!!

The film comes across as being dreary and literally miserable!! And that's from the concept of the film, combined with the horrible idea of Russell Crowe singing.

Seriously, how do you get a housemate to turn it down? I'm looking forward to a quiet night for him, when revenge will be taken!

There is a very good 720 cam copy of Fast & Furious 6 out to dl, its 3gb but is really decent quality for a cam

Opted fo this last night instead of Star Trek.

Good action film, very far-fetched in some places, but entertaining at the end of the day. If you go, stay for the extra bit just after the end

Yup, agree with that about Fast and Furious 6, some of the action scenes are funny and there's an obvious joke! Was a lot better than I thought it would be.
