Seven pyschopaths, brilliant, Sam Rockwell is the best actor on the planet

Just saw it last night, utterly brilliant! Full of funny moments, great dialogue and Sam Rockwell really steals the show, although Christopher Walken and Woody Harrelson don't even have to speak in movies for me to be happy. Colin Farrell was at times a bit meh, but overall this is one of the best movies I've seen in a while.

Agreed! The cast is immense, even the boardwalk empire cameos at the start had me laughing.

Any other suggestions guys?

Not watched it since it was released but i remember the Texas chainsaw massacre (2003 version) being pretty good, dark and suspenseful.

Can't think of much else at the mo, but a few half-decent ones that spring to mind right now are (in order of quality):

Rec
Devil
Vacancy

Would go with Texas though if you are looking for the classic horror format.

Steff. You were doing so well til you said RZ's Halloween.

I'll add The Ring to the mix.

I'm aware of the controversy there...I just like his films, like his vibe. I get it though, purists feel he fudged that up and I can appreciate that viewpoint.
The Ring is very good, nice one. Did you see Sinister yet? Elements of The Shining (seems to be a recurring thing recently) but nonetheless a very good ride IMHO...

I would also say (not a horror film per se but highly fudged up) the French flick
With A Friend Like Harry
Just excellent.

French horror flick

The Horde

is pretty good, and

Rammbock: Berlin Undead

is also a good shout...

I love horror films...man...
