Just been looking at some of the prem league outrights odds and two really stand out for me - United to win league at 4/1 and the goons to finish top 4 at evens. Took the United bet on betfair so can hopefully lay later in the season and guarantee a profit. The goons bet would be more of an insurance one so I don't feel so bad when they sneak it off us on the last day...

Right time to stop ****ing around and for the money to come in tomorrow on the vuelta. Not been having a good tour at all so far so Mr nibbs better do something special tomorrow or im packing up.
 
Won £265 tonight.. Wondering whether to put some of that on tomorrows internationals and double it or just bank it.
 
Stunning ride by gilber today in the vuelta but i have had a **** tour, hoping nibby gets his two stage wins so i can come out ahead but if he holds on and takes the jersey to madrid i shall break even.

Im confused about the worlds though because i just can not get a handle on tony martin, he almost let cancellara win the time trial but then has done some impressive break aways, really confused now.

Really a lot will depend in whether cancellara decides to race in the road race of the time trial at the worlds.

Bloke in the pub reckons he is making money on backing the draw in matches with high odds on the draw on betfair and then using their get out button after 10 minutes, on the basis that the is not often a goal in the first 10 minutes.

I have seen the odds on a draw for the england game are high so i might keep an eye on it to see if the odds drop quick in the first 10 minutes like he says.

Didn't you say this last season? And we argued that it seemed unlikely, unless he was placing huge money on each game?
 
That's not to say that I don't like the tactic, it's intriguing but I just don't think you would win much without making big stakes on the bet.

not sure what to make of it, but as im working a lot longer days and even into the early hours i do not have as much time for football, think as things sstart to take off and i just got an order from america i will have even less time.

But yeah i have friday free so im going to watch to see if it is a tactic to try. I think with any betting strategy you have to use your own knowledge of the market. It is possible that england will take some time to break down moldovia but it is whether the odds drop enough. I can not see them doing this because in all likelyness we will eventually score.

I watched sunday morning in Madrids game and the back on the draw was at 8 and by the time madrid scored it had dropped to 5, so if you have enough money and can guage when the draw becomes ever more unlikely it might work.

Think england will win and score but so often they have trouble breaking down these teams. (will probably score in the first minute now haha) this is not my method just something i thought i would share with you guys.

Still after some of my cycling bets this year(where i specialise) i would not pay much attention to me.
