They've spent so much over the last two seasons that they have to sell before spending anything significant now.
As seems has every club apart from us.

Man Forest Green are a real disaster club lately heyI see Troy Deeney got the boot from Forest Green Rovers. For those not up to speed, he went on an extraordinary rant against his side and one lad in particular (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUIpJP8xc-k - this is a very mild version. His attack on the player which isn't here was savage).
He was well out of order. I've seen a lot of people say "oh they needed telling" but you can't just go around abusing lads especially when you're the manager.
It's one thing wanting to rip the brick out of your players after a game, another to single out individuals.I see Troy Deeney got the boot from Forest Green Rovers. "I'd like to apologise to the fanbase. But I'm not really into the apologising thing. I'm into the fixing and sorting the issues out at its root core."
"We've got a lot of people who haven't gone through the mill of humility to understand why they are here and what they've been doing...you know, if this is your level, at League 2, then why are you at the bottom of League 2?
Couldn't agree more. He's one of these people who think "I just tell it as it is". If he was genuinely taking responsibility, that's where he cuts the interview. "I take responsibility, it's my problem". No more needs to be said. What an awful interview. One of those people who think they're sounding really intelligent but actually sound like an absolute macaron.
What?

Thing is, he's saying the words but he's not taking responsibility because he then goes on to blame everyone else and savages a player. It's cowardly and disingenuous.
Yeah can't find the interview any more but heard it the other day and it was as bad as these quotes read:I went looking for the extended version but couldn't find it. I did find this interview, where he kind of apologises but also says he stands by what he said and goes on to blame it on football changing and players being weaker these days!
Troy Deeney: I shouldn't have let that out | 'My emotions get the best of me'
Forest Green Rovers head coach Troy Deeney say he shouldn't have slammed his players so much after their defeat to Harrogate Town and he accepts he let the emotions get the best of him.www.skysports.com
Not everything needs an Ange reference, but he's done it for 30-odd years without too many issues. Deeney lasted about 30 days!

Good luck to the guy, hope he gets well soon. He’s been a great manager over the years the couple of blots on his CV notwithstanding. He also seemed like he could be a cantankerous f**ker too but most of them are when they lose. Tellingly, pretty much everyone in the game I’ve heard talk about him speaks very highly of him.
fudge me, you’ve met a lot of impressive people. You seem to speak highly of most so I’m gonna do my tabloid journalist schtick. Any of them you didn’t particularly like?Could not agree more, i was lucky enough to have met him on several occasions at the sessions and he always was friendly and helpfull to all the staff and players who were taking part.
