Manager Sack Watch

Yes biased as in one sided account of events that you’ve relayed.

That’s funny because Poch took Spurs to a CL final, then relegation form for literally a calendar year but I still see plenty on here sticking up for him. Its fine for you not to like his persona or whatever, but to try and undermine what he’s done as a coach playing everything down I don’t buy at all. Fact is in modern football teams and coaches have a short shelf life and managers are either given time to rebuild or binned off as soon as things start going south. He managed to win the FA Cup with a lesser squad than ours. I agree I wouldn’t pick him as our coach, but still respect what he has done…..

So you'd take relegation if we got an fa cup first?

Potter sacked according to BBC. So much for letting him build a team. No doubt they will appoint Nagelsmann now.

Considering the amount they paid Brighton for Potter & team, the redundancy payouts now to both Tuchel's collective and that of Potter's, plus whatever the cost of a new hire...
that's a shedload of staffing costs for those crooks to be footing

I don't see it TBH. Liverpool had what transpired to be an abundance of talent which once gone he tanked, he won a one team league as Ranger were way off thr radar and TBF to Leicester they have a decent squad and he has run them into a halt.

I make jokes about him being Pardew because of his fake tan, teeth and history of banging his secretaries but he is about that level too IMO

That's not how you spell trannies.

Not how things should be done. They need to leave it for two or three months so that they can really think things through.

Poch or Nagelsmann?
100% Nagelsmann, wouldn’t surprise me if it is announced tomorrow morning.

I wouldn't mind Potter at all. His Chelsea dominated most games, created chances but had no striker to score the goals. He didn't really have one at Brighton either.

We have Kane....for now atleast.

Who did Brighton get to score all the goals since he left? Potter has been shown up as out of his depth at Chelsea while Brighton have thrived under de Zerbi.

This is a very fair point. They've lost Trossard too and still score far more than under Potter..

Thought he was starring to turn it around a bit recently the result yesterday notwithstanding. Smells to me like they have the replacement lined up and Nagelsmann seems most likely.

Not for me:

Brighton struggled for goals under Potter but then de Zerbi had them scoring more
Tuchel had Chelsea scoring but then Potter goes there and the goals dry up

He needs to revisit his tactics

Yeah, no doubt de Zerbi has done great and managed to share the goals around the team. I still think Potter is a good coach and will do well elsewhere.
