Manager Sack Watch

All that build up to Potters career. 15 years learning the trade from Sweden to Swansea to Brighton.. Then lands at Chelsea, Who have had 500m spunked on their squad... Surely he just needed to pick a best eleven and let it settle. What a roller coaster he's been on hey

I guess if you are offered a job managing a club of Chelsea's stature you can't turn it down. A similar type of offer may not come along again, but it was a bad fit for Potter. Too much too soon. Add to that the owner buying anything that moved hoping Potter could fit the jigsaw puzzle together in short order, well it was never going to make the job easier. I think he'll do well at another club and find his mojo again.

This is a very fair point. They've lost Trossard too and still score far more than under Potter..

Thought he was starring to turn it around a bit recently the result yesterday notwithstanding. Smells to me like they have the replacement lined up and Nagelsmann seems most likely.
Hopefully before they play Woolwich.

They are. 100%. As much as I hate the Goons and The Dippers, they are proper clubs. Chelsea are a bunch of classless c**ts who won the lotto.

But...them winning a game is better than Woolwich winning a league.

I'd take arsenal winning the league if the cheating (overspending) clubs were all punished accordingly. Which created a fairer game where every team played by the rules as intended.

Yeah, but that ain't gonna happen, so for now I want the cheaters to beat Arsenal that one game

Might be the smartest thing any football club on the planet has done this season.
