I don't hate Everton and i don't like Lampard. Quite ambivalent about whether they stay up or not.
If they stay up and it's by a whisker it could leave them as a good tale of poor footballing decisions whilst splashing the cash

I don't have any specific hate for Everton but I sort of want them to go down as they are one of the few remaining clubs that have been in the PL every season since it started 30 odd years ago.

Dyche would almost certainly get that squad playing better too.. I suppose I would prefer him to save Everton than West Ham though if you had to chose lol

It's a bit like Forest and Villa being back up. Grand old teams, who we routinely beat, are great for the league and better away days than any of the nouveau riche. The one exception of course being Leeds, who I hope go back to League One.

Frank is great. He'd be absolutely bonkers to leave Brentford for Everton - unless he fancies a shot at trying to win the championship.

Massive step down right now. Tbh right now Everton need a Curbishley/Allardyce/Dyche/Redknapp fire-fighting style manager to keep them up.

Some Everton fans at work think going down might help them. I told them be careful, there is no guarantee they would come straight back up.

If they didn't have the stadium happening I'd agree with them - three years of parachute payments, they'll be up. But throw in the stadium and they could very easily become Sunderland or Derby.
