Lawro the Twunt says... 2018/19

Tottenham v Emirates Marketing Project (20:00 GMT)

Emirates Marketing Project beat Tottenham easily at Wembley at the end of last season and, with its wide open spaces, I think it is a stadium that suits them.

I cannot see any reason why City won't do something similar this time - especially now Kevin de Bruyne is back from injury.

City boss Pep Guardiola said his side's performance in their midweek win over Shakhtar Donetsk was the best he had seen since he has been at the club, so it would appear they are in decent form too.

Lawro's prediction: 0-2
He's being kind to us.

Wolves v Tottenham (19:45 GMT)

I was surprised that Wolves were beaten by Brighton last weekend, but that was another lesson for them about life in the top-flight - and how you can still be beaten even if you have the better of a game.

It will be interesting to see if Wolves manage to have the majority of play and possession in this game, and how they approach it.

Emirates Marketing Project are the only top six team to have come to Molineux so far this season - Wolves took the game to them, and it worked.

A lot has been said about Tottenham this week following their defeat by Emirates Marketing Project, most of it negative.

Their wait to get into their new ground is clearly affecting the whole club but, on the pitch, from one to 11 they are still a very good side that has made a very good start to the season.

Lawro's prediction: 0-2

Tottenham v Chelsea (17:30 GMT)

A lot has been made about Chelsea's impressive start under Maurizio Sarri, but Tottenham are only a point behind them.

If they win this, Spurs go above the Blues, which is an extra incentive - not that they need it, because there is not too much love lost between the two sides.

Lawro's prediction: 2-0

Some seriously deep insight there.

An absolute dung beetle. Living off his own bodily waste.

Spurs aren't Liverpool. They don't do hate.

Arsenal v Tottenham (14:05 GMT)

Tottenham have had some big games domestically and in Europe in the past couple of weeks, and they have won them all.

It helps that most of Spurs' players are fit again, or fit enough to play a part in games - like Christian Eriksen did on Wednesday when he came off the bench to score the winner against Inter Milan.

Jan Vertonghen's return from injury in that game was a boost but the really important thing for Tottenham is that their key attacking players - Eriksen, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Son Heung-min - are playing well.

On top of that, Moussa Sissoko is starting to look like the player they thought they had signed when they bought him from Saudi Sportswashing Machine two years ago.

That is why I am backing Spurs to come out on top here.

Arsenal have not really been convincing whenever I have seen them recently, but that just makes it even more impressive that no-one can beat them - they are 18 games unbeaten and ticking along quite nicely.

But that is just an extra thing for Spurs to aim at on Sunday. Not only can they take the three points, they can end Arsenal's run too - and they would really enjoy that.

Lawro's prediction: 1-2

The 0 button must be jammed.

WTF? His Twuntiness predicting an away win against a Big 6 side? These are strange times.

Also, 18 games unbeaten you say? It'd be sweet to end both Chelsea and Arsenal's unbeaten runs this week.

Tottenham v Southampton (20:00 GMT)

It was strange to see Southampton boss Mark Hughes get sacked after his side put in such a good performance against Manchester United, but he has paid the price for a string of poor results previously.

Whoever gets the job will have a chance to get to know the Saints squad before the January transfer window opens, and you can envisage him being busy next month - he will need to be.

Tottenham will be stinging after their derby defeat by Arsenal and we will see a reaction here. Whoever is in charge of Southampton will probably be leaving Wembley empty-handed.

Lawro's prediction: 3-0

Leicester v Tottenham (19:45 GMT)

It has been a while since Leicester last lost - a run of seven games since they were beaten at Arsenal on 22 October.

Tottenham play Barcelona on Tuesday in a game they have to win to reach the last 16 of the Champions League, but I think Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will pick a strong team here.

Finishing in the top four and being in the Champions League in Spurs' first season in their new home will be even more important than getting out of their group this time.

If Spurs do play a strong team, then I think they will win.

Lawro's prediction: 0-2

Tottenham v Burnley

Tottenham have had a very good week. It doesn't matter that other results helped them reach the last 16 of the Champions League - they had to find a way of getting through, and they managed it.

Burnley, who got a much-needed win over Brighton last weekend, managed a draw with Spurs at Wembley last year but I don't see Sean Dyche's side getting anything this time.

Lawro's prediction: 2-0

Ginola's prediction: 3-1

Everton v Tottenham (16:00 GMT)

The situation at United obviously has a knock-on effect for Tottenham, with their manager Mauricio Pochettino supposedly among the front runners to get the post permanently in the summer.

If he is offered the job it will be a big temptation for him and it will be a decision that will keep him up at night. That could affect Spurs' season too of course.

Right now, this trip to Merseyside is the only thing Pochettino will be focused on as they look to continue their run of good results since they lost to Arsenal at the start of December.

Tottenham's recent record at Goodison Park is decent - they have not lost in any of their past five visits - but Everton's home form this season is good and I cannot see them being beaten.

Lawro's prediction: 1-1
