January transfer rumour thread

QPR have agreed a fee with Emirates Marketing Project for Nedum Onouha

Sow is very close to signing for Fenerbahce

Anyone else think this 'Henry doubtful' thing is just Wenger trying to find an excuse not to use him against United because he's crap?

Wasn't Sow meant to be the next Thierry Henry following a few goals in the mighty League 1 and some upbeat youtube compilations?

Why is he going to Turkey and not Real Madrid CF?

The clue is in the opposition!

He can perform against Championship sides or below (that's what Wigan will be soon), but he is nowhere near PL standard.

Hope we move him on sharpish.

Beat me to it. I havent really seen him look the business against superior oppostion. Think we need to cash in before his value is too little

From BBC

Sow has never been mentioned in the same breath as Henry, i think you are confusing him with Remy

Tottenham are set to open talks with Aaron Lennon over a contract extension that will extend his stay at the club until 2016, according to the Daily Express.

Lennon's current deal, signed in 2009, does not expire until 2014, but Spurs are keen to add at least two further years to that contract.

They are also reportedly prepared to give him a ?ú10,000-a-week pay rise, taking his earnings to ?ú55,000-a-week.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy witnessed how Arsenal were forced to sell the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri or risk losing them for free when their contracts expired last summer, and is keen to avoid a similar situation at White Hart Lane, it is claimed.

Lennon has spent some time sidelined with injury this season but has returned to the line-up for Tottenham's last two Premier League matches against Everton and Wolves, scoring against the former.

Once again, very smart move from the club.

When you hear the wage numbers thrown around at other clubs, its not a huge surprise players want to leave tbh. Lennon could easily get ?ú80-?ú100k / week at another club, probably more at a team like City or Chelsea

I couldn't envisage him getting 80-100k a week at City or Chelsea personally, he's not even a regular international (rightly or wrongly)....

Unfortunately just goes to show how disgustingly greedy some players are. When did 50 grand a week become paltry. Should be over the moon with 1 grand a week for the "work" they do
