The battery is the least of your worries if you drop a phone in water.
Also, dropped my iPhone on concrete last night. Survived! \o/
The battery is the source of electricity, and it's the electricity flowing through the phone that can short it. Once I had the battery out of the phone I could start the process of drying the phone.
Sure, but even if you drop a phone in water without a battery, it's still unlikely to work properly.
You all clearly missed my plugging of my mates iPhone Customization and repair website so im gonna bump it again
Coz im nice like that..

It also doesn't take a genius to work out Samsung completely ripped off the iphone in every way imaginable, and still be bricker than it.
it's always described as "apple fanboys" vs "people who aren't sheep" categories.
iPhone5, yes the hardware is available on Samsungs or HTCs, I know that. But Software wise, the Apple is unparalleled. iOS6 is a far better OS than Android in my opinion.
Anyway, as that iPhone chap Iver (forget his first name) mentioned, your phone is a part of your life now. Goes everywhere with you, one of the first/last things you check before bed, whether that's right or wrong, it's how it is for a lot of people.
And for me, the iPhone works perfectly in my life. Yes because I use other Apple Products, iTunes for example, so syncing music is easy. I can control my iTunes library via my phone, which works perfectly when you're having a poker session with the lads and can change the music without leaving the table.
I also like the Apps. I'm not gonna try and convince anyone, different to certain people, but i love my iPhone, and am all over the iPhone5 without a doubt
To be honest, I don't know why they connector being changed is even a contentious point.
What on earth does that show? A bunch of very similar hardware features and then just list some of the software of the Samsung/Android phone but not iPhone?
Just to make sure there are no confusions, I don't even have a Galaxy S3!
