Harry Kane MBE

@OptaJoe: 9 - Harry Kane has scored nine goals in his last 11 Premier League appearances for Tottenham Hotspur. Confidence.

@HKane made 100th app for @SpursOfficial today. In PL, only Sheringham has scored more in 1st 100 apps for Spurs

In that clip he runs right over to Son. I can't remember a player who we've signed who's been one of the lads so quickly. Everybody loves Son.

Or maybe Son just happened to be warming up over there when Kane scored. Lol I'm sure they all do love each other right now. Seems there is a feel good factor within the club for sure

Well done Harry. I had my doubts he would play 15 games for us so 100 is great. I couple more like today (beating a player or two and creating out of nothing) and I will really will be convinced.

He is actually looking like a proper number 9 these days. Hold up play, beating centre backs, running at the last man. He is developing very well and strength seems to have really improved.

I was so gutted when I left the Lane last week that this is my first post since then, and I am happy to announce 11 down 20 to go. Sure he has slowed down a bit but there is still time, 10 goals in his last 10 games

I mean, how much fudgeing classier could Soldado be? Fantastic! If he comes back to the Lane in action with someone, massive massive reception I hope.

I love Soldado. I was so gutted that it didn't work out for him with us :(. He tried so hard but the chances just didn't come off. He was with us long enough to give him a chance, and yet, as soon as he leaves, he starts scoring goals again. Just wish for the best for him in future.

Was a real strikers goal. The sort of thing you see Aguero do.

Not sure when we can rest him. But he needs some early subs over the next few games to stay fresh.

A week between each of the Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Southampton and Norwich games. I think he'll be fine to play most of the games against Norwich, Watford and Everton. And for once our opponents will have a fixture list just as packed as ours so they will tire too. If anything I'm guessing Kane will be fresher than most the players in those teams as 3 games in a week is something we're used to at this point.

Yes, thats why I loved it.. Created out of nothing like Auguero would, I didnt think he had it in his locker and proved wrong again..

Tbh when he scored last weekend, that was his first goal since August.

As for the guy who is still yet to be convinced...... What games are you watching. Even when he doesn't score he normally looks a class act

Hopefully we won't have many games to play until we have an alternative. After all, we've needed a new striker since the start of the season so we must have agreed a deal, in principle, for a new striker to arrive.

90% of the games I watch live or extended highlights. I know I am in the minority but I cant help that my eyes tell me one thing and my heart another.. Stats are very impressive for a young kid (finishing is amazing) but I dont think his all-round play deserves the big fuss... yet.. I guess a see him as a Fowler rather than a Rooney, Owen or Analeka. He limitations means he will never hit the top top level.

If we had a Berbatov type playing then I think that although he would score less goals as an individual we would score more goals as a team.

Gulp.

Not sure I get your point.. You have shown goals per game stats and I have said Kane stats are also good.. I am sure Darren Bents are good as well, or at least were a couple of years ago.

I think his point was that you put Fowler on a lower level than Anelka and Owen when he was probably on their level

If it was that then my point is still that Rooney, Owen and Anelka contributed more to the team and the game than Fowler (despite his good stats). Fowler never did it at international level, didnt move to the big clubs at the time etc, so whilst not a million miles off not at the same level for me, a very good player not a great one..

Not sure id have Owen or Anelka as team players tbh They were certainly no more so than Fowler was at any rate

Either way Kane is better than them all so there. ;)
