Giovani Lo Celso

Had high hopes for Lo Celso when he first arrived, but it never really worked out, did it. Good to get him off the books.

Obviously had to go but I can’t help but feel a bit of regret about it. The lad is a terrific footballer, has a nasty streak but never really looked like he’d sustain a run of form for us. Maybe the one little run he had under Jose but, that aside, he’s always been injured or peripheral.

A waste of time and money for us and a waste of 5 years for him.

He is a quality baller with an attitude on and off the pitch
He didn’t want to be here
We have got a good deal out of it to get the money we have
And also the additional % of future sales and the American kid

Very good player. Wish we could have seen much more of him in Spurs colours. Injury wrecked his time here.

A very good player? More like a good player in a team where everyone does his work for him, his total lack of a right foot and poor attitude dragged the team down when he played. I can't think of one game where I come away saying he was great today or we missed not having him, I have as much respect for him as he had for us.
