First Match - Who Will We Play?

Chelsea will have a new defence. Should be an interesting game.

What is the champions league schedule then? I suppose that is October too is it?
 
Three champions league games in October and one on the 1st or 2nd November.

Thankfully home to Liverpool after that Marathon.

What about the league cup?
 
Yep league cup in November after the Leeds game.

So that’s 13 games in a month and a half ffs.

Hopefully if we can get our transfer business done early as we're clearly trying to do so then maybe its a good time to play them

Same here mate, some great games against them back in the day especially the cup games. Remember the semi final game against them in the cup which was delayed for a hour because of a bomb scare. Me and my lad stood outside the ground in the tinkling rain while the police searched the stadium.

Yes indeed!!!!! I was not at that semi final match but remember it well…I was just looking back, and remarkably, the last time I was up there for an away game was 1997 (2-1 loss) but it seems so much sooner!!!!!!!!!! Madness!!!

Was that the game where we scored first and Vega had one of his, erm, games?
In fact, did he score our goal and then get sent off or something?

We played the second half with ten men, Vega got sent off just before half time. Crap game if i remember which was unusual because in general the games against Forest were always class.

Yes indeed. Vega...I think the ONLY good game I saw him have was the 99 Final!
