That’s certainly how it looksThey created a "look at us we are great" regime when they were there and cried about people commenting on their lack of action, only to do the same when they left. Looked poxy to me.

They are already injecting funds at the level that allows them to run at close to the maximum allowed FFP loss. What actions ?
They haven’t done anything if you look at it
They haven’t injected cash other than via sponsorship
They are barely visible now unless it’s a cup final when they can sponsor the fans to sell “Saudi”
They could easily fudge e sponsorship like city or sell some assets to themselves
They haven’t done that because they know that unlike other sports there are equally rich people involved who will object
So instead they are focusing their money on sports they can dictate
What?!?.... @Bedfordspurs replied back to my post saying 'Exactly my point'Which isn't what bedford said.

Have they injected any cash? They are already injecting funds at the level that allows them to run at close to the maximum allowed FFP loss.
IMO they haven't yet conjured up a big sponsorship deal due to the case that was running regarding in-house sponorship and fair value. I suspect that will change in the near future when the dust has fully settled on that hearing.
Selling assets to themselves (a la Chelsea) was also unproven until recently (who did so pretty much as a last resort). So, again, rational to consider that they wouldn't have pulled that card yet (and it is a card that should probably be saved as a last resort anyway).
And the reason they came close to FFP was because they had little room to play with in the first place.Have they injected any cash?
I’ve not seen any examples do it
They haven’t broken records on transfers and have been selling
So they spent over £300 million without knowing what they were getting into. Sounds legit.I’ve heard it from several people
They thought they could come in and take control like they have in other sports
They can’t so they have backed off
It’s not how they work
Im working right now with two experts on Saudi and the UAE and it’s something they have said form day 1
I can only comment from what I’ve seen form the outside and what I’ve been toldAnd the reason they came close to FFP was because they had little room to play with in the first place.

They haven't broken records on transfers because they can't due to P&S rules which has been said repeatedly.Have they injected any cash?

And what assets do they have to sell?
Then the prem added the TPO rules for sponsors that meant they couldn’t sponsor themselves and they went..,, fudge itSaudi Sportswashing Machine had lots of room to play with. They bought a lot in their first season.
I think in Staveleys first interview she said it was a quick win to take them over. Then the prem added the TPO rules for sponsors that meant they couldn’t sponsor themselves and they went..,, fudge it
Let’s fight another sport which is when they started throwing money at boxing

I've not said anything about that.
I'm just saying that when they took over they had wiggle room with ffp. They spent quite a bit. Isak, guimares etc... £400m net spend in 2 seasons.
Was it that much? I saw figure the other day that had it at more 120m first year, 140m the second. I mean for them thats big push forward, but to hit the ceiling that quick on FFP for mean means little wiggle room. Also given where the club was commercially likely gave them less places to go

Then with started selling players because the owners didn’t pit money in to fake enough sponsorshipsWas it that much? I saw figure the other day that had it at more 120m first year, 140m the second. Just checked, 254m by 2023
Not sure thats in any doubtAt the end of the day Saudi Sportswashing Machine spent their money better than we did. Their big money signings have performed ours haven't.
