I will be in a better position to answer that once our new signings have settled and had a run of games
I try to think about where we were in 2001 and where we are now and realise what a good position we're in.
Don't see anyone in the PL doing a better job. Some might say Everton, but if you offered them a switch they'd bite your hand off.
I do see a lot of kneejerking based on the club not doing exactly what some of our individual supporters wants us to do.

Well they are in a similar position (Actually above us last season) with a far lower budget.
And the fact that they have such a low budget is why the vast majority of their fans wants Kenwright out.
Give us Lukaku for a season ahead of last seasons shambles up front they wouldn't have been.

To me it looks like we've strengthened in defence but not any other position.

Personally think squad is weaker than this time last year now. Ridiculous not replacing Defoe/holtby or sigurdsson. Don't know why anyone's suprised tho mr levy has made it clear for years now his only ambition is turning a profit every year. Shame really. Hire manager. Don't back manager. Sack manager. Repeat.

A midfielder who could move the ball forward quickly was obviously a priority for Poch, if Stromboli turns out to be that player then we will have improved midfield too.
Holtby and SIggy didnt need replacing - we have 5 senior players and a kid for the 3 spots behind the CF (not including Kane or Dembele). The player we havent come close to replacing is Modric - granted, to get someone of the same standard would be hard (to say the least!) however none of our CMs can pass the ball
Yes true as well.
We break even or close to it every year.

Not sure, we've sold holtby and Sandro, both good midfielders in their own way. Stromboli is going to have to be good to cover the loss of both of those.
