Exactly what I thought, nice to see another side of Daniel levy.

Anyone else think it shows AVB in a bad light? when at Spurs he couldn't help talking about being sacked from Chelsea, then he nominates the two chairmen that sacked him in this ice bucket challenge.

Maybe I'm reading to much into it

Nah. I think it was a bit cheeky by AVB but all lighthearted fun.

What a fun few days lie ahead for our great leader.

Spurs head into the transfer window finale top of the league and, with a 48-pass goal in their portfolio, look like The New Sexy. A lot of players will have seen those highlights, and the gritty, crafty win at Waste Ham, and raised their view of what Spurs can offer.

We know he's a hard bargainer. Even moreso, surely, when the team are giving him a big lever to work with.

And then there's the likelihood that the stadium deal is finally ready to begin serious construction work in the foreseeable future. So he'll be happily hoovering corporate wallets for a naming rights deal. Just speculating, but I'm guessing this is a good time to be Daniel Levy. Not undeserved, by any means.

Ha! Nice post.

He'll be like a kid at Christmas.

The third one he nominated was his old boss from Porto, who I don't think he has any gripe with.

Irrespective of what you think of him as a coach, pretty much everything I've read has said personally AVB is a nice guy.

He has always struck me as a very private person so these kinds of public shows are outside of his comfort zone. Says a lot about the bloke he is willing to take it on in my opinion.

Levy does seem uite private but Abromovich is probably 100x more so. Can't see him doing this!

Well done Levy, great stuff !

Im suprised no players chose to rehearse an ice bucket goal celebration at the weekend. I was sure it was going to happen.

Sick of it now, not defending him anymore.

He's killing our club, Leaving us behind because all he is worried about is building a stadium and selling

What were you expecting Mumorn? We have followed a the same transfer policy as we have for years.

Personally, I think that it has been a quite successful window. We have strengthened in the key areas and moved on a load of players not wanted by our manager. The only disappointment for me was not being able to close the deal for Schneiderlin.

Scholar almost killed our club.

Sugar prevented it from dying and kept it on life support.

Levy has brought us back to where we could realistically expect to be.

Maybe so, but I think some go a bit far in praising him as the best chairman in the league/country/Europe.
