I agree but Udogie has had a poor season so far. I hope Ange doesn't drop Spence and bring him back in once fully fitCurrently Porro. But Udogie has a much higher ceiling.
Remember when Spence was another stone to throw at Levy? A “club signing” some fans used it as a criticism of Levy sticking his oar in.
That was probably inaccurate then. But I do t see any contrite fans praising Levy for his signing now.
Agreed. Top level performance.Best player on the pitch once again - if he keeps playing like this at LB I'd be consider keeping him as first choice there going in to next season
Keep him at LB at at somepoint Porro will burn out and we will need to shift him over anyway.
We have 3 good fullbacks.
I do agree Udogie is (at least) a few games away from starting though.
Move his to RB, and your asking a lot for a player just coming back.
Spence is comfortable on both sides, and I'm sure will be happy to play with to keep getting game time
Think Udogie and Spence would be good as a "partnership", but also think we'd miss Porro. Of the three of them he has the best ball striking, passing, crossing. Udogie and Spence are a bit similar.Udogie hasn't been as good this season, not sure if he was carrying an injury for a while. Long term will be great to have all 3 to rotate and Spence looks pretty comfortable on the left, good to have someone who can cover both flanks.
Look forward to seeing Udogie and Spence starting when both fully fit, think Udogie is better defending than Porro but not as good going forward.

You're both missed the point entirely. It wasn't inaccurate, he absolutely was a club signing and one that Conte the coach at the time didn't want. Theres nothing controversial in saying this. The problem wasn't the signing of the player, the issue was hiring a coach who isn't willing to work with club signings that he does not approve of. Again the idea that Conte would react that way was not surprising in the least.Won't be a club/levy signing now
Also remember the club he went on loan to didn't take up the €10m option on him

Djed Spence the right's whenever,So there's been some talk of a chat for Spence. I've been thinking about the options, and I came up with this.
To the tune of "dead or alive" by Bon Jovi:
He's a full back, down the right wing he glides
At Tottenham, (Tottenham)
Djed is on fire
Dude you love putting words Into people mouths. Again show me where I criticised the Spence signing? I'll wait.Ahaha walob
Evidently you criticised Levy for the signing. Will you now give him credit as Spence has come good?
The nonsense about conte is a red herring. Furthermore, the original criticism of Levy wasn’t rational, as though he’s single handedly signing these players.
Just admit you were wrong and it was good signing made my the club?
It's all on Conte. Unless he had in his contract that he'd only use players he'd signed, which is extremely unlikely, It's Conte not doing the job the club hired him to do. Spence had obviously been scouted, and deemed to fit both profile and style, and would have been a great fit for how we played under Conte too.Dude you love putting words Into people mouths. What I criticised is hiring a manager like Conte if you're going to make club signings. Conte was not the type of man willing to play them hence the wasted year for Spence.

No I didn't prefer we didn't sign Spence again you're making up brick and attributing it to me.You’d have preferred we didn’t sign Spence is what you’re saying! I’m glad Levy is in charge and not clueless fans.

Bro that's why we should have never hired in the first place. He has history of working that way, it was not at all surprising. It's all on Conte. Frankly, his behaviour regarding Spence is like a fudging 3 year old not getting candy when he wants. Utterly ridiculous.
