Daniel Levy - Chairman

If we are looking to a more data/analytics driven model, that may well change the profile that we seek in a DoF. So it may be a narrower but more specialist position, with less overlap with Munn than might otherwise have been the case.
We still need someone in the mould of Paratici to oversee the football side of things. He was doing more than just recruitment and was really transforming the structures of the club on the football side.
After the review of how the football side of things is done, I can't see the transformation not being continued and I don't know if Munn really has the football knowledge to do that along.

If he & Levy (other club employees) retain a relationship there would be nothing to stop him giving friendly advice/passing on info to relevant parties i suppose

Conte will have no problem getting another big job. And he’ll probably win trophies. That doesn’t change the fact that he underwhelmed hugely at Spurs. And you’re right, there’s a ready made excuse - “it’s Spurs”. It gives people like Conte and Jose a free pass.
But back to the original point, that Levy should resign because Conte failed? I don’t agree with that.

Also agree to extent. However I think Levy should resign cos of his decisions over many years or at the very least just leave the footballing side things to someone else

. Honestly I'm having a hard time getting excited over whatever new boss comes in, because quite frankly the foundation remains the same.

Like Scott Munn.

Apparently Scott munn is not going to see any of the football aspect but the financials and budgets ... did I read that somewhere?

I read that he will over see all footballing aspects including the youngsters and women.

Dof and manager would report to him.

Yep, he is taking over the football operations side (apparently) and will eventually have a number 2 under him and the new gaffer. TBH People wanted that and the split from Levy who will apparently concentrate on the commercial side.
So in that case are we going back to a 'manager led' structure for football matters? By 'manager led' I mean one where it is the manager who decides what players he wants in (at least in terms of positions and characteristics as a minimum) and players out. It is also the manager that dictates the formation that the youth teams will play along with which players stay or go out on loan from the youth teams?

I would imagine that Munn would be accountable for everything aligning and making sense. In my mind that should mean that between him, the DOF and manager with the guidance/lead from the manager on his preferred system that yeh, it adds up more synergy than it has. Including who we go out and acquire for that system and who comes from the system to progress into the system.

Would be far too risky if it was even on a semi regular basis - just because we wouldn't be paying him, doesn't mean he isn't working for us in a football related role.

If he was to make the tea however.....

In every story about tottenham and not just concerning managers, but players even sponsorship. Levy is mentioned,he has become bigger then the club.

That is to much for me, like Doug Ellis and Ken Bayes, he needs to go.

Hardly Levy’s fault that reporters clearly haven’t a clue what they’re talking about for the most part. Mentioning Levy does add clicks though so…
