Daniel Levy - Chairman

It’s not like any of us have an actual say in who will take over when ENIC eventually sell the club. And even if we did, what are the chances that a consensus would agree on the same people given how many billionaires there are in the world? It will most likely be a person or group that half the people on this board have never heard of. I just want someone who doesn’t interfere with the football side of things and doesn’t undermine managers.
Sherwood was the club's arse cancer who thought he could manage the team.

Levy gave him a new, performance related, contract and let him hang himself.

Just reading an article about him in The Athletic and came across this. I can't help but love the little bastard:

Just consider the negotiations that led to Redknapp leaving Portsmouth to take the Spurs job in 2008.

Portsmouth had agreed to receive £5million in compensation, but the deal was held up because Levy was still haggling about the agent’s commission. The two sides were £50,000 apart. Levy agreed to the deal on one condition: Smith, an Arsenal fan, bought an executive box at White Hart Lane. The price of that box? £48,000.

What you see as good I see as petty and childish.
Do you really think 50k was going to stop the deal? It was most likely a bit of banter between the two if that did happen.
Like the story of some chairman asking him for two Spurs jerseys and Levy taking the cost of them out of a payment.

Haha that was on the Modric deal wasn't it? He took ~£100 out of the ~£20m transfer fee. Petty/childish or not, that made me roar laughing.

Could Paratici still work for us the shadows?

As a consultant? Maybe. But we'd still have to pay him, which if anyone (fifa) found out we could be punished for. So i doubt it.

Not necessarily - he's banned from football, so may choose to work for free to keep his hand in the game.

If he & Levy (other club employees) retain a relationship there would be nothing to stop him giving friendly advice/passing on info to relevant parties i suppose

We knew. We are ITK.

I think levy did a smart ting with signing another goali when they wanted to play hard ball.. shows other Clubs that we will move on.. and now he hets Maddison in. Great deal
And while I'm not a massive fan of Levy. I will say he has done well and did well last season too with getting deals in early. Now continue on and get rid of some players and get better defenders!!

More buildings.
Levy is a very busy man.

I have no idea at all how this stuff works or if the money comes back to Spurs or whoever, but some fag pack calculations show the average one-bed flat in Tottenahm to be around the 400k mark so with 558 homes at full value that comes to £223,200,000 and that's on the low side of valuations.

It will be interesting to see where that money goes.

Some more info from the clubs web site.

I wonder how much of it would be build to rent, providing a longer term income for the club.

Need to take out the cost of purchasing the land and building the homes out of that. Still should be a nice little earner.
