Champions League 22/23 - Round of 16: AC Milan

I predicted 12 points. I expected us to win each of our matches whilst only collecting 2 draws and a loss away. I was correct about points even if not in the way that they were earned. Overall mission completed in topping our group. And chance to bolster our squad for the next challenges that lay ahead.

Anyone see how ndombele did for napoli? Them getting through hopefully means they have a few quid to make the deal permanent next summer.

Don’t think that he was great. Liverpool supporters I know told me he was poor. But it was a game of no significance for Napoli so not really a match to judge him on. Hopefully as he starts for them, they will buy him so we can use that money.

Pot 2: Liverpool, Club Brugge, Inter, Frankfurt, AC Milan, Leipzig, Dortmund, PSG

We can't be drawn against Liverpool or Frankfurt.
 
Finishing top has definitely helped us (not always the case in the first CL knockout draw).

Whoever draws PSG will feel unlucky.

We know we aren't going to win the CL, so the main thing was to progress to get the money and the coefficient points and avoid Europa distraction to focus on a BIG CL game, see if we can get to the Qtr or Semi but basically it is "job done, no nightmares here"
 
I hope we get PSG, would love for my son to be able to go and watch Messi live before he retires.

We don't know that. We beat city home and away last season. Is there a better team?
