Champions League 2017/18 - Round of 16: Juventus

So we have a tough CL group with Dele missing the first 3 games, so where would that leave us if Kane was injured?

MD1 - home vs Dortmund - Live BT3 from 19:00, k.o.19:45
Madrid vs alphabet soup on BT Extra same time

I'm surprised that the bookies have us as favourites v Dortmund, though I guess they're not quite as good as the team that got the CL final a few years ago..

Domestic bias. They're not as good as they once were...but they can still be frighteningly good when they want to be, and I'd reckon it's 50:50 at best.

We'd be favorites at the Lane, and deservedly so. But not at Wembley.

Always get thy with bookies as they take in country bets

Dortmund are not the team we think of but will be a very very good side I'm sure

Taking my rose-tinted glasses off, I think its a bit short of 50/50. In my view, we'd be expected to finish 3rd, though not a million miles behind Dortmund in 2nd. A win on Wed would help!

wow, so one of madrid or dortmund into the arsenal thursday plate

And if Madrid are not careful it might be them :D

Last nite mid table Real Betis went to the Santiago Bernabéu yesterday and beat them 0:1, methinks if they can do it then then so can we

Group winners in the group of death with one game to spare

Group E: Liverpool need a win to guarantee top spot, but could end up in the EL if they lose at home to Spartak in the last game. Sevilla play Maribor and should go through.

Group F: City have won the group. Shaktar need one point at home to City in the last game to finish second. Napoli are three points behind in third, but will finish second on head to head if they can catch them. They are away to Feyenoord who are yet to pick up a single point.

Group G: Besiktas have won the group. Porto are ahead of Leipzig on head to head. Both have home games in the final round, Porto playing Monaco and Leipzig taking on Besiktas.

I would like us yo finish the group of death unbeaten.

Coefficient is also important. we're currently 19th in ranking, 8 points behind number 16. Winning that game could mean the difference between pot 2 and pot 3 in the end.
