Champions League 2017/18 - Round of 16: Juventus

I'm pretty confident that the Real & Dortmund fans will be a little gutted to have got us. Any fans of those clubs that keep tabs on the Premier League will know that we are a club on the up with a very good, very youthful team, not to mention a great up & coming manager with a winning mentality.

I think the first match is key for us. It'll undoubtedly be tough but we will need to get off to a winning start at 'home' and then hopefully put a few away in Cyprus to get 6 points on the board before going to the Bernabau (Alli must be mega-gutted to miss that one, especially!!) and then hope for another legendary night when Mssrs Bale & Modric sort of come home. I just hope that we are still in with a shout by the time we have APOEL at Wembley.

If we make it out of this group then maybe the press will STFU about this Wembley 'hoodoo' at last.

Whilst I'd obviously like a win, I'd take a draw at home to Dortmund now. Given our recent European adventures have been less than impressive, being competitive is the minimum this time. Its a shame we have Dortmund at home first, given that if we lose then we're really up against it, whereas had we gone out there first, a draw wouldnt have been a disaster as we'd still have the home game to come.

In terms of qualification, my biggest concern is that I feel that Dortmund are more likely to take points off Real than we are, given their greater European experience. Real also has Dortmund in their last game and if they're qualified by then, we might find that Dortmund aren't facing Real's strongest 11.

I am a Lilywhite member. Are the Champs League tickets only available to ST holders at the moment?

Nothing heard this call sign - don't expect to hear until 4wks piot to fixture. I might be pleasantly srprised, but very embittered at the mo'.

No, the 3-game packages are currently on sale to both STs and Bronze/Lilywhite members until Monday evening.
Sale dates (and prices) of tickets for individual games have not been announced yet.

Is there a link Glenda? Its a couple of the three game tickets I am looking at for myself and my son. I can't find it on the Official Site

If you log into your account and go to Buy Tickets you can do it from there.

Or on the.OS go to More News or News Archive or something like that. It's probably a couple of pages in. (I'm on my phone now so can't find it as easily).

The more that I look at the team, the more mistakes that I notice. Good to see that even if we sign Aurier, Trippier can just fill in at centre back.

If we get a bit of momentum at Wembley we can Definitely beat Dortmund...maybe even surprise real....away games will be orrible though
I think it'll be the reverse, we'll better away I feel.

Loving this group, no mucking around ! Where's apoel btw ??

You've got to beat the best to win a tournament but this couldn't have been a worse draw, I watched Dortmund's game today and they coasted, they're not as top-heavy as they were under Tuchel and looked solid at the back, it won't be easy to win a game in Nicosia and I'm not going to mention the elephant in the room.
