Corners don't count as shots on goal for some reason. I think we had one today as well that would have been on target if not for a headed clearance.

Shots on goals is an absolute flimflam metric, most blocked shots don't count, direct from corner that keeper saves, doesn't count, weird list

I think we can’t waste the quality of this squad on Ange. I’d give him until the end of the season and then say goodbye as it stands. That is more time than before but it needs a cup win of either the FA Cup or the Europa League to have him remain. Although of course if we markedly improved then consideration would be due there.

I am Ange in but I do not doubt that it is really, really tight in terms of how things end.

The impression I am left with is he is gone, it is as simple as that.

I honestly think that if he isn't gone by tomorrow, then villa is an absolute must.

If we are out of that, then for certain he's gone. Even if somehow he keeps his job after that, then the club will see how he does in europe, and if that fails, then we know Ryan Mason is in for another stint.

I agree with your first sentence.

I wouldn’t give him until the end of the day.

Nothing to do with tonight really, no new information there, we’ve been spanked like that over and over again.

He’s just a crap manager.

I fear that you’re right. I fear that if he stays we risk losing key players in the summer who don’t want to be part of this. And then we are back to rebuilding. The team that we have should offer a LOT more than we saw tonight.

At least all the NewsNow reports and articles look positive and don't mention anything like "horrendous" or "slammed" or "drubbing".

But it's been a good season with some attacking football (zero shots) so that's a positive.

If we had kicked on this season players would be interested in staying, new players would also be interested in joining and coming into the rebuild

We are now going to be way down the pecking order for new players in the summer.

Plus you have a high chance of getting injured

Only thing that can save this season is winning the Europa League which I think is going to be a big ask. We theoretically could win it as there are no Liverpools in it but seems unlikely.

I think it’s the easiest cup to win
Said it since day one and the prize is double too because of the CL incentive
The home and away nature and the calibre of teams is huge

Yes. Plus now we have a few weeks of only one fixture per week hopefully players can find fitness and return from injury. Then if we can win a couple of league matches and get safety confirmed in league we should then go all out for Europa league. I don’t care at this point if we finish 16th. But we have to go all out for that.

Deja vu! Spurs are THE club with all the right gear and NO idea!!! Having world class pitch, training facilities and shrewd acumen etc. does not mask the fact (courtesy of a certain D.Levy), we are run like a two bob club, with the real regard of ‘trousering enough of the ‘folding stuff’ into cash obsessed owners already burgeoning pockets

IT HAS TO STOP!

We’re led by a mumbling, bad tempered unconvincing ‘manager’ that DOESN’T CARE (for others observations and opinions), but more importantly DOESN’T seem to care about the ‘trite’ he’s serving us up, and sticking steadfast to ‘Angeball’ with no real belief OR integrity. (can you imagine a rousing team talk led by Ange - lord forbid!)
Where’s his evidently lacking tactical nous & ability? (what do they say about the definition of madness and expecting results?)

Clueless, without conviction or any amount of bravery to make the decisions S.Wonder could easier see to be made, regular total ineffectual individual performances seem to be permitted - Son (clearly shadow of himself), Bentacur (can’t insult his ‘performances’ in a Spurs shirt enough), Richarlison (must be divvying the money he’s robbing from the club w/manager), Sarr (out of his depth), bring the worst that comes to mind after tonight’s mauling! to the forefront.

Never mind LEVY out (although it’s waaaaaay overdue - and if he were a manager, sacked long ago), Ange has been found out!

Yes he won something w/Celtic (not hard in a brick league), but what manager willingly chooses/sticks by Werner? (injured to spare his and our embarrassments), and IGNORES the young talent that (a) would give 100% unquestionably (b) has when given a ‘chance’
delivered and given us hope -
Brentford 3-0 anyone?, and their reward… to be unceremoniously benched!
( Scarlett, Moore, Donnelly, Ajayi, Phillips, Gray, Bergvall, Devine to name a few, would give their all without a doubt - what’s the saying about winning w/kids?

S’gotta be a better shout than losing w/also rans!

To finish, if EVER there were proof of Ange not knowing his a** from his elbow, is the shocking manner he had treated DJed Spence, who has gone onto being one of the Aussies more consistent performers in an under performing ‘team’!

“TAXI FOR ANGE!” … Quickly!

What makes you think after tonight we can go away to Gala (for example ) and not get battered

We were fairly lucky they were
Wasteful earlier in the cup

Because we will have many of our better players back. If Lankshear wasn’t sent off against them I think we would have beat them. Focusing on Europa League and keeping players rested for the matches means we would have a very good chance or at least ought to have.
