Most people's biggest soother/pacifier is the kitchen table finances being A okay. The economy is fine. Many americans are happy with ice deporting criminals and illegal aliens. Epstein yep. Although the clintons are currently under the spotlight.
the economy isn't as fine as he keeps claiming it is, which becomes an issue when his voters don't see the changes (e.g. fuel prices) he says are out there). Also inflation back above where he inherited it and rising.
Nothing really coming on the Clintons, which the Clintons knew. They only agreed because it makes Trump not testifying look like he has something to hide, whether he does or not.
He needs to do something about mid-terms (and 2028) because if he loses both Houses he will a)be impeached within 6 months and b) stopped from doing all the things Congress actually have the right to be doing or not doing. it would also put a kibosh on the corruption and cronyism as he couldn't make new appointments without proper due diligence....
Gdp rose 2.2% in 2025. Inflation 2.4%. Unemploymet 4.3% Markets near record high. Wage growth 3.7%.
Think bombing and putting boots on the ground are 2 very different things.
A survey by a progressive think tank and a democrat supporting news station? And yet…

42% of Americans under 30 say they're 'barely getting by' financially, Harvard survey finds
With student debt and everyday costs adding up, young adults say they’re struggling to cover the basics.www.cnbc.com
True, but boots on the ground seems an inevitability unless this gets resolved quickly, with all the other countries in the region likely being involved sooner rather than later as well. I don’t know. War is expensive unless you’re the arms dealer - I can’t see Trump doing himself any favors, but who knows, they’ll probably be able to spin it in their favor one way or the other.
I doubt there will be boots on the ground. There will be a few bombing runs and it will be over for another few months.

Good if true, weird that Trump said US troops would no doubt lose their lives in this conflict though
Why? Iran has already fired rockets at us bases in uae etc...
They would have been evacuated ages ago, I wouldn't ever rule out boots on the ground, there will be most def troops in Iran if the regime is toppled and that comes with its own issues
They are military bases. You don't abandon them. Where would they evacuate to?
They'd be ready for stikes. Just as israel is. There will still probably be casualties though.

Do you think if fox did a survey it might read different?
I'll stick with the figures.
Some people so indifferent to war. Almost salivating. Disgusting and inhumane.
Mate, you don't just sit in a military base if there are missiles detected heading your way or a hostile threat, they are soldiers, they ain't thick.
You see plenty of civilian military in the likes of the UAE, they don't have to stay on base
Yes you do. They'd have shelters on base. You don't just go to a bar in town till it blows over.
Being cynical I wouldn't be surprised if they use war as a pre-cursor to turning the money printers back on, it's the only thing the US seems to know.
It doesn't feel like they're even pretending there's a reason for this war, probably launched now because the stock markets are shut and also so that it's started before there was a chance to pass a bill saying Trump needed authorisation from congress to attack Iran.
