Alejo Véliz

He needs game time. That's the most important part.

Going somewhere where he can speak the language and settle in quicker is probably a good idea for a short stint.
It would let him settle in quicker, and give him more time to learn/improve his English.

He needs to settle in England and get used to the physicality of the EPL. Unless he's chronically homesick, a move to Spain makes no sense at all

I agree, it would be good to see how he gets on against Prem sides and give the club a better idea of his progress.

Starting their first game

Espanyol are so brick. He'll cut a lonely figure up front for them. But as long as he's getting games, it's better than his last loan.

It really is an excellent first touch, he totally wrongfoots the defender, then an excellent finish of course, all in the 96th minute, very cool!
We could do with him tomorrow, with our 3 strikers all injured at once!

Great for him to get his first goal for Espanyol. Even greater that it was the game winner late in stoppage time that involved good skill from him to score.

I hope he gets a consistent run of games to develop footbalistically and comes back challenging for the backup spot to Solanke, or even pushing Solanke for the starting CF spot.
