OMT Badgers vs Eagles

Sacking Frank was a great idea.
How? I think we've been worse. Just played two winable games, and got nothing. Xavi was starting to look good, we had some patterns of play, and were developing. Now we're at sea. And going down.

Hiring him in the first place was a shocker.

It's sacking Ange that doesn't seem like a great idea. How much lower would he have had us??

Other way around for me. Sacking Ange was absolutely necessary. Frank is a decent manager. He'll do well somewhere, as he has done in the past. And he'd have probably got us a few more points had we keep him and had some stability.

It's 100% hindsight on my part, but he was unquestionably the wrong appointment, even though I agree that jettisoning Postecoglou was absolutely the right choice in the summer. Frank just had "supply teacher" vibes here; I don't think this group respected him. They all think far too highly of themselves and aren't interested in taking their share of responsibility. Would he have fared better than Tudor has? I don't know, it's impossible even to speculate, in my opinion.

The worry is tonight, this could finish 6 or 7 and the small crumb of comfort we were clinging too of a superior goal difference is getting wiped out

Batting last in the next round of fixtures there is an outside chance we might be sat in the bottom 3 before we kick off at Anfield (although it would need West Ham to beat City---dont rule it out!)
We'll probably have to wait till we've lost to Forest, and a laughing Marinakis has come and taken a massive dump in the centre circle at half-time.

Yeah, because none of this has anything to do with him.
It's taken, what 6mths for ex arse workers on the board to take us down. I was no fan of levy but I felt like in his own way he did actually like us but liked money more.

These lot,I struggle to believe this board can be this stupid and incompetent. I mean their decisions now mean they are doing this for a laugh or there is a bigger picture plan that we don't know. Cos someone is gonna benefit from this

Old Joe is going to be spitting feathers when we go down and it knocks a couple of billion off the value of the club.
Good, the level of incompetence beggars belief really.
fudge I thought I'd calmed down but no still raging, I literally hate everyone at the club right now!!

Edit: Apart from Archie Gray.

Stupid to disrupt things even further by making those subs with minutes to the halftime whistle. Just consolidate and get to the break. 100% on him.

Indeed, he absolutely shatt the bed there. I mean, he knows how fragile we are, so keep the disruption to a minimum at that point. Absurd.

Morning after the night before. Can’t believe we’ve lost that. Not that we didn’t deserve it, we absolutely did. Just can’t believe that the law of averages still hasnt taken pity on us in what was, for my money, our easiest remaining game on paper.

Was hormonal and emotional and went hard on Tudor last night. However, in the cold light of day, I haven’t seen anything in the 3 games to hang my hat on. This brickshow isn’t his fault but I can’t see him getting us out of this. Everything is going against us right now except time. But even that is running out…

We’re a cartoon, always have been. Who else would get fudging relegated the season their big rivals win the fudging league for the first time in 20 years? Everything we do at the moment is straight out of a cartoon I used to read as a kid, where a striker, Jimmy Grock or something, always saved the day. I’m not sure anyone gets here to save our day, but we do seem like such a cartoon these days I wouldn’t be surprised if we got Redknapp in, Kranjcar as assistant coach, he puts on Brandon Austin as left winger who bangs in a few, we save our spot with a 4th minute injury time winner against Everton, while Arse lose the title to City at the hand of Gabriel scoring an own goal with his rooster accidentally hanging out of his pants in the last minute. Who knows where the cartoon Gods will take this brick show.

Well, we were 17th in a league with three terrible teams in it last season, so probably there or thereabouts, best case scenario.
What signal does it send to the squad when we finally win a trophy and sack the manager who did it?

We all know that he sacked off the league. It's disingenuous to quote last season's position as if it is the same situation as this one.

Frank was out of his depth from day one. We were utterly useless except from set pieces. That we now are just utterly useless is Tudor making worse what was already abysmal.

We should have let Ange fail on his own merits if that was what was going to happen, and replace him with a similar manager.

Instead we changed to a completely different style, again, and torched any progress the cup win may have given us.

And so we get to the nub of it: the owners.

We have been terribly unlucky with injuries but we left ourselves hostage to fortune with persistent mismanagement.

Time to press the Dyche button?

Personally I would have kept Ange on, but understood why they sacked him. However - to win a European trophy, get back in the Champions League and looking to kick on and say Thomas Frank is the man just showed to me how clueless the decision makers are at the club.

Personally I'd take Sherwood, for some weird reason gets a lot of hate despite having a really good win percentage as an interim manager. Would back him over Tudor all day long.....
