OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Wolves ** 29 December 2024.

NLS

Michael Brown
Spurs v Wolves at home on Sunday 29 December 2024. Kick off at 3pm but not on TV....

Difficult times for the club and this is the team I would go for....

Forster

Porro Dorrington Gray Udogie

Bissouma Bentancur Sarr

Maddison Kulu

Solanke....

So, that would be a team without wingers as such but, as much discussed on here, ours are not producing much anyway....

The above team would offer a bit more protection to our young centre back pairing and only one full back should be allowed to go forward during an attack...

The above team is not perfect or ideal and I expect many different opinions ( abuse ) from what is now a very divided fanbase.....

As long as Ange reads and learns from this we'll be OK though......

COYS

Davies will probably be back

4-2-3-1 would be nice to see

I'd actually play Deki right and Werner left

I'd be tempted to play Bergvall as well over Maddison

Play younger/fresher earlier in game, do subs early in 2nd half, bring on senior players.

Yeah, not watching this either. We might get a reaction in one of the two league games, but more likely we'll get utterly embarrassed. We'll then lose by two goals to Liverpool, making the second leg redundant.

So it’s likely to be
And this is fudging scary
But this is what we have

Forster
Porro Dorrington/Bissouma Gray. Destiny

Sarr. Bentacur

Maddison

Kulu. Dom. son

The lack of players is a worry, almost like it’s a reason for Ange to change things and be a bit more cautious? That’s silliness though, what manager would change things in the middle of a tough run of games and an injury crisis on top.

Not necessarily changes in personnel, just don’t send the full backs bombing forward at every opportunity like it’s a religion. If we go a goal or two up, take your foot off the pedal at times, we don’t have to go out all attack attack attack regardless of the score, state of the game etc from minute 1 to minute 90.
But if we go a gain down again?

I was gonna say, anything could happen, but I don't think it could, we are so predictable right now, that it's almost certainly going to be another defeat.

Well yes it’s different if you are chasing the game you have to go for it. Do you not think there are periods in the game when it calls for a different approach? Or do you think he should play the same way for 90 mins regardless of what’s happening in the game?

I think fans asking for a change of tactics and approach is why they are fans and not managers
I also think a team thag has issues defending is better at keeping the ball away from the defence
