Would relegation be that bad?

After spending how much? And mortgaging future earnings.

But getting champs league with Conte and a cup with Ange was Levy being shìit to you. At least try to make it make a little sense.

Chelsea have spent a fortune in the last 5 years and have been nowhere near challenging. I’m not excusing where we are, I’m just being realistic. Our forwards are fudging terrible and nearly got us relegated, that’s why I have little confidence that we’ll be anywhere near the top 6-8. If we sign some new forwards then I’ll reevaluate but honestly it seems like there’s collective amnesia on this forum and we’ve forgotten the back to back 17th placed finishes.

Levy was still being defended by wally’s like Lemonade Money after 25 years. I find the asymmetry rather strange that the new guys get less than a year and they’ve already got people breathing down their necks.

People are breathing down their necks because of the fact they almost got us relegated last season with some diabolical decisions.

I don’t know about Chelsea’s finances to be honest but are they taking out high interest loans on future TV earnings? If not don’t compare what they have done to what we are doing which could very realistically leave us in the Shìt.

They ain’t pumping their own money in they are taking out pay day loans… that’s never a good idea.

If what you are saying is we should finish mid-table. then after pumping the money they have done and selling good young prospects while mortgaging our future. How does that compare with what Levy done for us over his tenure?
