WHO DO YOU TRUST TO DRAG US OUT?

thfcsteff

Sonny Walters
11 games left, one at a time.

Who do you trust to step up in the dressing room right now?

Here are my choices/hopes-pinned...sadly, when I look through the current fit squad, I only see a couple who have the personality IMO...

Pedro Porro - I think he will fight
Kevin Danso - I think he will lead by example and fight

(when back in side) Romero - he just won't quit on the pitch

ONE player we really NEED to start showing himself more in that 'motivational' way, is Connor Gallagher. VdV? He needs a psych reset IMO, as with that, he could be enormously influential. Right now, he seems scattered...

Someone who isn't afraid to call out the flimflam and hurt a few egos - but I'd have to question if there is even anyone there who would be capable.

Can't see Igor doing it, they know he is short-term.
No point doing a legohead and getting fans to do it, not one ounce of care would be given.
ENIC to bribe them in some way, might make a few of them give a smeg.
My old SSM would sort that lazy sods out, but we'd end up with a few more on the injury list :D

I'm full of joy and optimism me :)

I just think it’s about getting some players back and keeping them fit. If we are going to be playing a back 3/5 and you can lineup Porro-Romero-Danso-VDV-Udogie that’s enough of a platform to go and get points.

Between Solanke, Richarlison and a Tudor influenced Muani we have goals.

Hopefully that’s enough to get the 12 points we probably need.

Definitely Danso, when he's back. Gallagher should have a bit of fight in him, but is probably too new to be relied upon. Pahlinha has the fight for sure, but drag us OUT? Meaning, the ones scoring? fudge. It has to be Solanke for me. Richy is a fighter though, should play his part. Solanke and/or Richie, can't see who else will give us any goals.

Danso
Romero if he can stay on the pitch
Solanke
And I think Gray - he'll just keep going and not let anyone down. Same with Paulinha.

Otherwise - nah. Maybe Porro.

In general, I wouldn't trust most of this lot.

Danso, Palhinha, Richi, Porro, Solanke will run themselves into the ground for the team.

Xavi I think has the fight, but not the experience or style of play that suits the grind.

Romero will be motivated in CL, isn't going to give a fudge in PL (that's him)

I think we need to find in Gray, Sarr and maybe some of the youngsters, find 1 or 2 fearless ones and use them, get them to play without the baggage the team currently has.
