Whilst times are good...........remember the bad and feel even better

Well we seem to have hit a brickwall, the players are not playing with any confidence and the managers lack of tactical awareness is hitting us hard. I guess you can say at least Bale is looking back to his best and we stopped the losing streak.

I felt tonight the team tried to hard! they need to just relax, be fluent and move the ball around and wait for a chance. That said, we made hard work of it but we never stopped going! and that is a positive sign.

Chelski will be desperate to beat us, so they will come at us. I expect it to be an open game, lets hope for a pick up in that game and some luck. Three points there and we would be in a really good position. Even a draw would be a good result.

we gained 4 points on chelsea in the last 15 minutes.

looks a lot better with 5 point lead than 1 going to stamford bridge on saturday

and they do have to win

no way will they overturn the gap with the fixtures both sides have left

Seriously can't believe people are still making these kinds of statements.

Yeah, well, it IS the positive fread, innit? You're looking for the well diving fread, guv.

Like the first half of noddy's post. I was chomping fingernail sarnies for a while there. Good on Rafa and Tevez to give us some hope.

Erm... Arsenal still have to play Chelsea so one of them has to drop points? Is that a positive?

The positive from all this is that Lennon's value to us must be around 80M, now that we have finally realized he is better than Walcott.

So when we sell him in the summer, and actually buy Walcott, we'll have 75M change for Moyes transfer kitty/war-chest. A nice 35M bid for The Yak should sort us out next season.

Bring it.

yep, that is a positive.

we stopped the rot, scored a late goal and i honestly don't think we looked too far away from winning that.

there are still 9 to go, so it's not all over like a few would seem to have you believe.

we have the chance to get to an FA Cup semi next week... plenty to play for.

We battled to the end and grabbed a point, 4 days after seeing a fellow footballer basically dead on the hallowed turf of white hart lane. (Muamba was clinically dead for 78 minutes).

Arse are having the luck at the moment... we are not! Perfectly good equaliser for Everton incorrectly disallowed for offside, don't play that well and walk away with three points. They won't have it all their own way for the the rest of season, and we will get some luck before the season's end. Fat lady has not sung yet, and 3rd is still very much on! Positive, positive, positive. We have stopped the rot, now time to get some luck for once versus the Chavs

We looked down in the dumps when we finished 4th in 09/10 and managed to beat Arsenal, Chelsea and City away. No point counting our chickens when we've got 9 games left - it isn't over until it's over. The only game we have left against a team in the top 6 is Chelsea, right?

Come on you Spurs. Keep believing.

yet we drew at home to a team in 11th....

Man United lost at home to Blackburn not so long ago. Every team has a rough patch - it's how you respond to the bad results that shows what the team is made of. NINE games left - anything can happen. We're in fourth for fudge's sake, people are talking like we're back in the dumps in 10th place.

The supporters, as well as the players, need to man the f*ck up.

I know anything can happen. Just saying it doesnt always work out how you expect. Of those teams not in the top 6, we are not guaranteed to win, and in fact the ones scraping for relegation would be just as hard as a top 6 game.

You say that but they've always been lucky ****s, and we've always been unlucky. How many good goals have we had disallowed this season? Ade's had 3 on his own! We never seem to get the luck and the scum always get it. What chance do we have of competing without a bit of luck. My only hope is that RvP gets injured as their season will then go into freefall.

Some big words from big Brad:
However, Friedel is refusing to see the match in such all-or-nothing terms. "Football is not pressure," he said. "It might be for some, if you want to heap the pressure on then that's you as an individual person. But you play football, it's a game.

"We want to play well, we want to win but we all saw here [at White Hart Lane] last Saturday [when Fabrice Muamba suffered a cardiac arrest] what pressure was. I've got three kids and raising them is far more pressure than a football match.

"I don't think it's about holding your nerve, it's about going out and enjoying yourself and expressing yourself because those are the type of players we have. It's continuing what we've been doing all season long. Sometimes you can play very poorly and win a game and then nobody says anything.

"But we've been playing really good football without getting the results we want. I'm not concerned at all and we will go into the Chelsea game confident, expecting a good result."
