Jesus...I'm no fan of Ange but this feels a bit over the top. There is no-one in our history, no-one, who gets near Campbell for clamishness. One shat all over this club with the biggest betrayal in the history of the game, the other one is just a guy trying to do a job where he is a bit out of his depth. Absolutely not comparable in any way, shape or form IMO.

edit: Yes I do realise I have said another post is over the top and then described Campbell's antics in extreme terms but I stand by it.

Oh I hate campbell but Ange has killed some of my love for football. My eyes have been bleeding at the brick I have seen this season to the extent that I don't even watch league matches from other countries.

Add into that I hate arrogant people and he is the most arrogant I have seen for a few years.

Edit: second-rate was harsh and just my frustration. I actually quite like Dan's stuff normally...which makes this all the more annoying.

The article headline was horrific and his in person question to Ange on Tuesday was basically "you will make history or leave in infamy?". It is rhetorical baiting, simply as. The league season has been appalling but Ange has got us to a major European final. Kilpatrick has been quite even about Ange on his podcast, I listen to most episodes.

He must have decided to burn the boats on the eve of the final. Might be listening less. Shame our beat journos can't be more supportive

Agreed, I think it’s below the belt. Even more so when you realise it’s the correspondent for a London paper.

He wanted to rile him in public before a big game, that’s not good form at all and incredibly disrespectful

I saw the headline and decided not to read the article. Even if it was a misleading headline I was disappointed to see it was authored by Dan Kilpatrick who is a Spurs fan. I get that being a journalist means you have to distant yourself from the emotional side of being a fan - and he has spoken before about how you do become detached - but on the eve of a huge final I expect more from any fan, journalist or not (and when I first came across him he was a podcaster on The Tottenham Way (I think it was that one), so was definitely fan first at some point).

I read that, it's pathetic.
The pundits from all sides seem to be lining up for utd, so far from the ones I've seen it must be around 10 to 1 pro utd.
So it's especially disappointing that "one of our own" can write such drivel.
Should we win I expect the media to be wearing black arm bands and there'd to be a news black out.

Heard a little rumour yesterday that he's leaving the Standard. This is his last season covering Spurs.

Some of the reporting of the PC has mentioned Ange's angry raging rant about this slur. Strange.
Watching it, he's really rather measured and apart from a change in tone, really moderated himself.
