It's hyperbole obviously, that said, the trend/team transition is in the data/passmaps/etc.

- Team sits higher, plays in opposition space more, holds on to ball more, greater possession, greater shots.

Which considering the drastic nature of the transition, limited preseason, number of new players (and new players to EPL) is pretty impressive. I'm really excited for this team in two months, when the squad and system settles and when we put Bentancur back into team.

There's good reason to be optimistic but lose the next few games and you'll have the same fans knee jerking and opposition fans reminding us of how we've carried on over the last week or so.

There is still a very long way to go before we can start declaring anything definitive, positive or negative, about Ange or this squad.
