Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

I agree we could do with a couple of established players to balance out the many young players we have. But it's not that always that simple for a club like ours as Ange highlighted the other day. He said that they could have signed a more established player when the opportunity to sign Gray came up and he felt that it didn't sit right with him to pass up the opportunity of getting Gray for the sake of a player that will help us for a couple of seasons - would look back in years to come with regret at not signing Gray which I think is fair enough.

He did imply our next transfers (not sure if meant for this Jan window or the summer one) would be more focused on established rather than youth.....
Its the balance thats now needed IMO, we do need a few more experienced heads in there. I really like what we have done with the youth, Gray is looking generational more and more I see him. But a couple or even one more experienced classy head in there would help ey....

I am hopeful because the way we have plotted our windows recently has been impressive

Ange got it spot on in his press conference the other day on the subject:

'It's a bit of human nature these days - We get something then we want something more and something more. Then that doesn't satisfy us so we want something else'

He's spot on :D...
Think is, he's not - the results speak.

That said, if the club believe he is right man to develop the investment in youth we've made, then we can accept this is a rebuilding season - at present it looks like a significant regression season.
In 2/3 games time that could look completely different. But football works on a one season basis, whilst building takes longer, so you have to both build and perform simultaneously. Which is incredibly difficult.

Who and who will buy them?

I know it seems simple in your head. But the world is a bit more complicated.

Thanks for clarifying it was beyond me to think that we have players that we could sell in the market.

Hopefully my crystal ball comes in before the window opens and then I can give you exact prices, players and clubs involved. Because selling players is not a usual thing but I think we could be trailblazers and flog some.

Sorry. I thought it was obvious.

yeah we lost without a lot of regulars .... but the discipline in defence was horrendous, and maddison resorted to hoofing it down the wings for son to chase.

is this angeball?

Whatever Angeball is I think it’s best suited for basketball, video games or a kick about with your mates in the park …. Not the premier league… in football we have players known as defenders and a defence … Angeball should be taken to the next level of revolution and play with no defenders or goal keepers
