Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

I agree. A while back now but he turned Massimo Luongo into the best midfielder in Asia and has had a similar impact on a bunch of Japanese midfielders. I think Winks could become a reliable player for him.

I agree. The sort of holding CM which, from what I've read, Ange employs is similar to the role which Winks played for Samp this year. Might not be a long-term solution there but he's one which I think Ange might be able to get more out of

Probably the biggest spacegoat of all time at Spurs when I went regular. The crap you could hear spoken about him was incredible. I'm not saying he was great hit for a period he was decent and then he got blamed for literally every issue at the club hahah
I heard him get blamed even when he wasn’t playing.

Hahahah same haha that's tickled me because me and my mate had the exact same experience. Some people honestly spout the biggest bunch of gonads at games
This was an old fella
Row 35, block 33 in the old ground
He used to start on Bentley until he went
Then it was winks

Following the appointment of Ange Postecoglou as our new Head Coach, we can now confirm Ange’s team of coaching staff.

We are delighted to welcome Chris Davies and Mile Jedinak to the Club, and Rob Burch back to the Club, to join up with Ryan Mason and Matt Wells.

Chris, who has previously worked on the coaching staff at Swansea City, Liverpool, Celtic and Leicester City, joins as Senior Assistant Coach.

Ryan Mason has been appointed Assistant Coach, along with our former Academy player and coach Matt Wells, who worked alongside Ryan during his spell in interim charge at the end of last season.

Mile, a former captain of the Australia national team under Ange, also joins the coaching staff as Assistant Coach following a spell as a youth coach and Loan Development Coach at Aston Villa. He previously played in the Premier League for both Villa and Crystal Palace.

A product of our youth set-up and former goalkeeper with us in the early-2000s, Rob returns to the Club as First Team Goalkeeping Coach, having previously served as Academy Goalkeeping Coach until 2019. He has since held coaching roles with the Football Association, Fulham, AFC Bournemouth and Club Brugge.

Our new team of coaching staff will begin work alongside Ange on 1 July.

Big Mike Jedinak! Another Aussie. Very happy for him to join.

(Bit of backstory about the Mike thing: https://www.smh.com.au/sport/soccer...eroos-skippers-name-wrong-20140614-zs7q2.html)

The comments weren't meant to be linked. He was never an assistant but equally if he's staying on it seems a little odd that he wasnt included on the announcement

Seems we are still negotiating (or so Ally Gold has indicated)
