I just read this. fudging ridiculous. MADRID?! What the fudge. 90% of the supporters of both clubs won't be able to afford or have the time to get there. Why don't they just play at the bloody Monumental and properly guard the fudging bus routes to the stadium? How hard can it be?

Probably quite hard all things considered.

Interesting side story, one of the River players (Ponzio) is allegedly banned from playing in Spain due to previous match fixing charges.

This + threaten to give Boca the win if there's any misbehaviour. Suddenly the bus will make it through safe.

Also, helicopter them in or make both teams share a couple of busses or make them all travel in in unmarked vehicles.
 
Or dig a tunnel into the changing rooms, from the Buenos Aires sewer system. Reverse Escape To Victory.
