Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

Even so - nothing beats the Klinsmann / Louw slim-fit white shirt with the sleeves rolled back.

I don't disagree on L?Âw nor J??rgen, but surely the shirt-tie-sweater-jacket combination is far from dead.

Never seen Pep Guardiola in grey suit, off-white shirt, black tie and black cashmere sweater ? That's awesome. Well done to him.

It's not wear. It's Ku Klux Kenny who's a c*nt.

I'm pretty sure Bradford fans aren't making an attempt to cover up at least part culpability for the death of their own fans by screaming for justice every 5 minutes.

Just to be clear, my point was that the club have already afforded them the sort of lasting tribute that others who have suffered incredibly due to footballing disasters have never had i.e.Bradford supporters, Rangers in the late '60s, etc...in other words the Liverpool fans moaning should be grateful it is remembered so much by the club.

They're only a couple of players away. United, on the other hand, are about to go on the decline. Seriously.

So many of them still think that 8 players in their starting XI would fit into any starting XI in the league (Reina, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Enrique, Lucas, Gerrard, Suarez), and that they have had unprecedented levels of bad luck. It's amazing.

By the way, Liverpool, hitting the woodwork isn't bad luck, it's a missed shot. It's a shot that was not on target, just slightly less off target than most of Carroll's efforts.

Absolutely. Bradford and the others did what we all do when something like that happens - mourn and then get on with life.

I'm still trying to work out what that justice group actually does, other than irritate everyone.

One of my pet peeves is the phrase "denied by the woodwork". The goal is defined as inside the frame. If you hit the bar you've, as pointed out, missed.

I think Liverpool have a lot of 'OK' players - the sort which would get you 6th - 8th in the league ie Agger, Skrtel, Johnson, Gerrard, Reina, Enrique, Lucas, Suarez etc etc

however they really lack are star quality and now that Gerrard is in decline they're losing one more....and I really dont see how they can attract players. Fine they have a great history but that is probably a distant 4th in what players want behind money, CL football and ability to challenge for proper honours regularly

For what its worth, the only players I would take from them would be Reina and Enrique. Wouldnt take Suarez given the baggage which he comes with and overlap with VdV....the rest of them would just be bench players for us or ones which rotate in to give others a rest

They'd make an alright bench :D

... though, it has to be asked: Are they really better than (I tried to find similar-ish players from the squad, at least same positions)

Carlo
Dawson
Gallas
Naughton
Huddlestone
Corluka
Livermore
Defoe

Only Reina and Skrtel really stand out. The rest are distinctly so-so and not better than our best-of-the-rest from out 12th player and onwards.

Can't believe they let Meireles go to Chelsea. departs.

Reina has been very poor this season. I think Brad will do us for another year and if we can't shift Gomes he might as well be the number two. He is number two anyway so lets make it official.

I don't think Agger is as good as Kaboul or as Gallas in comeback form.

And as a fellow Dane, I am biased already.

Agger has been involved in a brickload of their goals conceded and generally has been inconsistent with injuries and formdrops his entire career.
