The Hillsborough situation is difficult. I believe that if it is possible for Liverpool to not play on the anniversary, then steps should be taken to make sure they don't have to play. However, it has caused so much aggrevation for the other clubs this year. I mean seriously, how long are they going to refuse to not play on the anniversary for? Surely eventually they will have to play on that day? I mean my dad passed away on June 22nd 2009, it's a sad day for me, but I always go to work regardless if June 22nd is a weekday. I do ask work If I can have the day off for his birthday, but I'd be asking for it off even if he was still alive.

Just out of interest do we and have we ever done the minutes silence for the bradford fire? or is that because its May and football season tends to finish before then

In regards to Hillsbrough, enough is enough surely. Where on earth is the money that Alan Davies donated going to?? What do they need money for? The Hillsbrough Justice Campaign? 96 people died, no amount of money is ever going to bring them back or make their deaths any more just. It was a tragic events and sadly life is full of them. You have to move on. Is it all just to get an apology from the police? From the Sun? And if they do, what is it going to achieve?

Wouldn't surprise me if the club's owners sent him on a course on how to deal with the media. The difference between the way American athletes and coaches interact with the media over there and the way King Kenny conducts himself are astronomical!
