Was this a permanent thing? I can't see any official updates.
I always thought Tom Carroll was a cracking little player, played with his head up always wanting to move the ball. Had a decent career and sumptuous assist (read 2 yard pass) for one of Bale's thunderclam goals, against West Ham if I remember correctly!

Two quick goals, Chelsea equalised and 2 minutes later we got a second from Tingey.
If ghe wall had jumped upwards rather than sideways thd ball would have hit them. As a goalkeeper I'd be annoyed at their pood effort

You're right, the kid on the right of the 3 jumps out of the way of the ball, what a wuss.
Tbf they left a gap in the wall possibly on purpose. He seems to jump to fill that gap thinking thats where the ball would be going. But the shot went where he was stading.
At least that's how it seemed to me.
