U23s, Academy and Loanees

A well deserved goal from Eluko, he looks a class act.

For Spurs, Byfield and LWB are head and shoulders the best players on the park. Byfield saves us again and again. I really don't think Pele AM (or Rowswell) have the talent to be at this level, they really don't have the talent at all.

Spurs so vulnerable, easy equaliser for the Foxes

These games are not about results or building defensive units, the prime objective is to provide players capable of playing 1st team football. Watching them regularly you will see the defence rarely has the same 5 players as their previous game.
Their last game it was
Archer
Rosewell Hardy Byfield Ashcroft.
6 of the team tonight played in the U18's in UEFA cup on Tuesday

I know, I just expect us to be tougher to crack, with Russell Denny and Olusesi in midfield (and Rio false 9) we should be more solid to play through, we were wide open in front of the defence and you can't say that R-D and Olusesi are particularly attacking midfielders.
Seems clear to me that the 3 best players are LWB and Junai B and then Ty Thompson and they are all the kids playing up a year group i.e. I don't think any of the true U21s on show are going to quite make it; Akhamrich and Hardy perhaps, and Olusesi gets around the England team but I don't really see much from him.

Seeing LWB interviewed afterwards it reminds me how young he is. My son is 13 and is an absolute CHILD, only interested in Minecraft etc. so there is a long way to go for LWB.
