I'd kick out the three wearing trainers with a suit straight away.
I've seen this at a couple of weddings recently and I've not been sure whether it is because the people have not been able to afford a pair of dress shoes or they are making a fashion statement. The former excuse probably does not apply to the footie players pictured above.

Have you noticed that people have stopped wearing flares?
 
For football players they should wear trainers rather than shoes. Their feet are their livelyhood.

Think it was an interview between bent and ledley for talksport or something.They talked about how wearing trainers now hurts and as soon as they can they'll take them off. Same with a lot of ex players.
