U23s, Academy and Loanees

Rodon started for Rennes today in their 5-0 win. Got booked. At least he played the full 90 though - I'd seen a bunch of comments recently that he wasnt doing well

Winks not been in the Sampdoria squad their last 2 games (the only ones he was registered in time for I believe?), must be injured?

Can we bring Scarlett back in Jan, or Parrott. I think we need an extra back-up forward after Christmas if we start to go deep in the Cups

I think break clauses in the January window are common - though i wouldn't expect either player to be brought back to the first team squad this season, much more likely that we'd look to bring in a new signing imo

U21's v Peterborough starting now on Spurs Play.

I know some of the better players at this level are on international duty or on loan but this game really demonstrates why age level football doesnt help players development, our team struggled against a league 1 mid table mixed team.
Fagan-Walcott and John seemed to have gone backwards and nobody stands out.

Spence Skipp and Sessegnon all played 70 mins as England beat Italy. Udogie came on at some point.
England were 2 up after 5 mins; Connor Gallagher won a pen which Rhian Brewster scored, then Brewster chipped another.

I think we have enough players if we go back to 2 at the top. I feel that 352 fits our players better too.

Do not think we should bring Scarlett back at this tme, he is getting games and scoring goals and would sit on our bench which will not help his progress at all. Leave him where he is because he will learn more by playing then watching. imo
