Tyler Dibling

I do rate him and could see levy paying big money for him because he knows there will be a big resale value in a few years ....

At this point we will enter yet another rebuilding period , levy will pocket many millions of pounds and we still won't have won anything....
 
I'm not sure we need more 18 year olds right now. Tottenham "Just wait until you see us in 5 years" Hotspur FC is a nice nickname and all but maybe we could focus on the present?

Unless there's money to get this one done, as well as getting in people we can reasonably expect to hit the ground running I can't see how it's the priority.

Our current youngsters doing well in a terrible team are the exceptions that prove the rule and we're already pushing it in terms of what we need from them imo.

If we're going to spend big on another teenager it imo has to be someone good enough now to make a fairly quick (this season) impact.

Personally I think Dibling may be good enough now. He also plays in a role where it's often imo a bit easier for players to break through that early at a high level (even higher than he already has). Definitely wouldn't be against it. But wouldn't like a buy to loan back for the rest of the season, because we need players in now.

He wouldn't quite hit the ground running as he's injured. But I think he would prove useful this season.

But imagine a team full of exceptional youngsters that prove the rule!
 
I really like him
It would be another signing getting ahead of the curve
Good that Chelsea identified him too because they do have a great eye for talent
His physicality is great and so far … dork what I’ve seen… the ball sticks to him
These deals are ones where I don’t care what the fee is. It’s a long term thing and whatever it costs, it costs 😀
