Troy Parrott

His goal return playing for a relegation quality side is quite impressive. Certainly Dutch sides are interested. What could he do with better service?

Think he’s alreadya £15-20m player. I think he could well play a role with us if he has a good preseason with Ange.
Hard to put a value on him IMO
But as a HG player who clearly and some talent we would be made not to take a real look at him

He's a year left on his contract and hasn't done anything at a reasonable level, he won't go for 15-20m. If he had a longer contract maybe.

We have a year extension and he scored 17 goals for a team that got relegated.
Didn't see any mention of an option of an extension but that's great if we have it. Gives us this season to give him an opportunity to prove at the very least that he should be in the squad.

Think ally gold mentioned it in his recent vid.

Spursweb mentions it.

Indeed, he barely got a touch of the ball until then. Seamus Coleman starting playing really well and surging forwards, but for most of the match Ireland just sat deep and were under (weak) pressure from the Magyars

Both sides were very poor, typical end of season friendly, total waste of time.

Has ireland even got a manager at the moment?

Someone today mentioned he has more goals per minutes played this season than gimminez. Is that true?

Anyway he's certainly throwing his hat in the ring.

Not in the Eredivisie at least: Parrott scored a goal every 159 minutes with Gimenez on 104; also noticed Bergwijn on 163.

I don't see his scoring 10 goals in a weaker league as being a reason he will be seen in a more positive light. 17 in the season is decent but it will be about how he steps up in better company.

Our last home grown striker didn't exactly scintillate on loan, so there's more to the decision than simple numbers.
