Los Blancos have raised close to €150m so far this summer with the sales of Mateo Kovacic (to Chelsea), Marcos Llorente (to Atletico), Theo Hernandez (to AC Milan) and Raul de Tomas (to Benfica).

But more are needed and as the squad train out in Montreal, the club will continue to work on the sales of Bale, Isco, James, Mariano, Navas and Vazquez.

Selling is the priority before buying and making money back on those players seems set to be the key to bringing in either Pogba or Eriksen later in the window

Something doesnt add up in all that, as swapping eriksen (with a year left) for isco would br a no brainer.

Sign lo celso and then do the above swap and we’d almost be good to go.

I'd say that's the only terms we should deal with Madrid. If they wasn't eriksen then it's Isco straight swap

Its very strange because zizou has always loved isco and immediately restored him to the team when he returned as manager.

They must be desperate to raise funds for pogba but ditching isco to sign eriksen makes no sense.

Why would any team want to sell Isco to raise just a part of the fee for Pogba? Does that mean that Isco actually isn't very good? Is there some baggage that comes with him? Or are Real Madrid just a complete basket case?

Isco has flattered to deceive for a few years now, looks good but no consistent impact. I think they are done hoping he will progress, 27 now so not a kid. If he wasn't Spanish they would have let him go a while back imo.
