Everton star 'aware of interest' from clubs amid reports of shock Tottenham transfer
It looks set to be a very busy summer at Spurs as Mauricio Pochettino looks to strengthen

Everton left-back Lucas Digne has provided an update on his future amid reports of interest from Spurs ahead of next season.

The French international moved to Goodison Park from Barcelona 12 months ago and made a huge impression in his first year on Merseyside.

Scoring four goals and registering four assists in his 35 appearances in the league, the 25-year-old also picked up the club's Player of the Season award as voted by the fans and he shared the Players' Player of the Season award with Idrissa Gana Gueye.

It has been reported in the media that Spurs are keen on signing the ex-Paris Saint-Germain man and talk of a a swap deal with Danny Rose has been mooted.

Lyon are also said to be interested in the left-back with Ferland Mendy set to join Real Madrid in a big-money move.

While the player has revealed he's not aware of interest from the Ligue 1 side, he has claimed that he knows of interest from other clubs.

"A return to France, OL? I’m not aware," he told RMC (via Sport Witness). "I am aware of interest from other clubs, but not of Lyon."

He added: "I feel good at Everton, I was able to play all the matches, we had a good season and a project is underway, the club will invest again.you are never sure of anything in football, but I feel very good there."

Well not completely damning, and certainly nothing unique about it . More a story of a kid who got a big head and lost his way.

If Poch wants him then I have no doubt he can Jedi mind fudge him enough to be a valuable squad member.

He'll be 26 at the start of next season. That's pretty old for a talented teenager who hasn't begun to fulfil their potential

Liverpool and Arsenal 'make contact' for Man Utd striker target
The Frenchman is being courted by three of the Premier League's big guns

Manchester United target Moussa Dembele has been contacted by Premier League giants Liverpool and Arsenal .

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to bolster his frontline with the signing of the Lyon forward, but the United boss is now facing competition from two of the club’s biggest rivals.

L’Equipe report that the Red Devils remain the ‘most capable’ of sealing a deal for for Frenchman, following on from reports last month that a €40million offer was on the table.

Dembele was coy on his future when quizzed about a potential return to England last month, saying: “I signed for five years with Lyon and I'm happy there but we'll see what happens.

“I’m happy to stay with Lyon next season but we’ll see.”

The former Fulham forward signed for Lyon from Celtic last summer for a fee in the region of £20m after two seasons in Glasgow.

The Scottish champions inserted a sell-on clause in the deal for the striker, meaning they’ll receive a windfall should he depart Ligue 1 this summer.

Dembele could be a potential replacement for Romelu Lukaku at Old Trafford, with the Belgian strongly linked with a move away from the club.

Inter Milan are interested in a move for the 26-year-old, with United keen to recoup the £75million they forked out for the striker when he joined from Everton back in 2017.

Lukaku made a promising start to his Red Devils career in the 2017/18 campaign, scoring 27 goals in all competitions.

The Belgium international failed to replicate that form last time out, notching 15 goals in 45 appearances as United stumbled to a sixth place finish in the Premier League.

Werent we supposed to be buying Dembele a week ago? (cue: "Yeah but he has a chronic injury"...)

His rise until say Wolfsburg certainly could be described as fulfilling his potential. It is since then the wheels have come off, and that is why he is 30mil and not 130mil. It's a gamble and maybe one not worth taking but at 25 he still has time to turn it around.

I'd be very happy with that. Very talented player and that's a decent price too.

Im kind of ambivalent. Clearly he has talent, and thats appealing, and at £30m seems a no lose punt.

That said, its not one to get the blood flowing either.

Digne would be a welcome addition. Looked very good any time I saw Everton this season.

Agreed, looks class whenever Ive seen him. Good defender and very intelligent going forward.

I can't understand where the £50m net spend figure comes from. If that was what we had to operate with then I would expect to have heard more Poch quotes stating that the club need to step up as opposed to the him saying he's looking forward to taking the next step. I don't expect to see us spend stupidly, but I still expect to see us spend more than £50m from our own pocket.

Zaniolo links come from the Italian press so take with a massive pinch of salt. Especially when it's all to do with how much we are offering the player in wages, does that sound like us? We don't go offering stupidly big wages to players let alone 19 year olds with a single season of Serie A under their belt. It still stinks of his agent trying to secure a better contract for him.

As for Draxler, I don't think we need him. There could be something in it, with us looking to see if a bargain to be had, but there are other parts of the team that we need to focus on.

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are interested in signing Cengiz Under from AS Roma in the summer transfer window, according to Turkish Football.

It has been reported that North London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal are keen on securing the services of the 21-year-old winger.

The report has also claimed that the two Premier League clubs have been in contact with representatives of the Turkey international and will monitor the youngster during the international period.

Roma, though, will not sell Under until and unless their valuation of £44 million is met, according to Turkish Football.

Interestingly, Everton are also interested in the former Altinordu and Basaksehir winger, according to another report.

A recent report in TuttoMercatoWeb claimed that the Toffees have had a bid of £24.8 million for the 21-year-old turned down by Roma.

According to WhoScored, Under made 17 starts and nine substitute appearances in Serie A for Roma this season, scoring three goals and providing seven assists in the process.

According to Foot Radio in France, Nabil Fekir could be available for just £15 million this summer, and that should put Tottenham Hotspur in red alert.

Tottenham have already been linked with the Lyon man in Le Parisien, and they should now step up their attempts to sign the French international.

Christian Eriksen’s comments rocked Tottenham yesterday, as he suggested that he may well leave White Hart Lane this summer.

Mauricio Pochettino will struggle to replace a player of Eriksen’s quality, but Fekir’s arrival would soften the blow considerably and for just £15 million he looks a brilliant buy.

Fekir has just a year left on his contract at Lyon, and the French club do not want to lose him on a free.

Tottenham must now take their chance to bring Fekir to White Hart Lane, as he could be a wonderful addition.

Fekir may be a different type of creator to Eriksen, but he could add pace and dynamism to Spurs’ front line.

Even if Tottenham bought Fekir, they would still have enough money left other to go after other targets now.

And if Fekir really is available for just £15 million then his signing looks like a complete no-brainer for Tottenham.
