Really haven't seen enough from Tel to suggest he's good enough. Odobert similarly. The fact that Johnson was preferred there to both options against Burnley for me speaks to something if not volumes.

I guess Gray can play right-back. But i'm old school, I just prefer a natural left footer as a LB particularly if you're going to play right footed left wingers/wing forwards out there.

Tel and Odobert are still weeks behind in their conditioning because of the U21 tournament over the summer.

I think Tel will be shaped as a CF now, possibly replacing Richy as main rotation next summer

I agree that we haven't seen enough from either yet but I'm coming at it from the clubs perspective - we've bought Tel this summer and Odobert last with him being injured for most of the season - so it just doesn't really make sense to me that we'd have decided that this an area we need to be investing highly in for a third player - like i say i can square it if it's an opportunistic deal for a player we think is just too good to pass on but that's different to actively looking for reinforcement outside of that particular deal.

Kulu will be back next month. So will Dragusin.

Dibling is a right winger and makes no sense now we have Kudus.

I don't think we'll play 3 at the back, other than maybe away at Liverpool and City.

I think we'll get a LW and 10. Sav and Paz would be ideal, but I expect we'll end up with cheaper (Lookman and El Khannouss?)

It looks like we'll park LB till January, which is a shame, but Davies should be fine in easier matches.
David Hytner is reporting this evening that follows up tests following surgery have not been positive and Kulu is likely out until the new year.

Romano has said we are one to watch with Dibling. He'd be one for the future and could play left wing which could make sense if Spence does end up playing more there as having a left footer on the wing would allow more balance.

On the tactics video he did Frank says he likes using a back 3 on occasion. With 2 forwards. I would expect to see it quite frequently away against anyone in the top half e.g. Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Villa. That is if he feels he has the right personnel to do it.

Might be that Frank sees Tel as more of a forward. He likes to play 2 forwards on occasion so we may see Tel's minutes coming more there. He didn't help himself with his appearance against PSG

If Deki is truly out til 2026, that helps convince Levy to actually pay the extra £Xm required to get a deal over the line.
