In for Savinho according to Romano….

1 goal in 1773 mins in the PL last season. Quite worrying considering he plays for a free scoring team.

Not replacing Richarlison would be a dereliction of duty in my view. We can't rely on a 'striker' who (a) is almost always injured and (b) can't hit the target even when he's fit.
Definately. The guy is pretty average. So is Solanke. We need an improvement in both, but all the best strikers are settled except Isak, who is too expensive for us.

Ha ha I just saw that Twitter had exploded with excitement at the immensely exciting possibility we could sign such a superstar.
Then I took a look at GG.
Night night all.

IF we sign him, it will be proof positive that we are absolutely looking to sit tight and strong to spring on the break and catch teams out.

Would you rather I was faux excited? Or would you rather Twitter stuck to the facts?

Which camp are you in?

I’ve watched the Monday night football interviews with Frank where he talks about adjusting his tactics for the opposition*. So against the best 5 or 6 teams that might be the case….but we’re not going to sit in against Burnley are we?

*He said it was something he learnt from his time of being the best team in the championship…,some teams would camp in and make it really difficult for his Brentford team to score. He said he took that forward to the Prem and role reversed it as Brentford were often the weaker team - but eventually they evolved and were able to play a different way against teams that weren’t as strong as them.

I expect him to mix it up per match - which I really like the sound of tbh. Conte and Jose were too one way, and Ange (initially) was too far the other.
